When FR Goes Down...A Place To Go (Live Chat)

When FR breaks, it's serious news, so even though I didn't post to "breaking" news, I thought this information belonged on the main forum. Jim said that he anticipates that FR will be offline again tonight for up to 8 hours. Some of you are aware that there is a Radio FR chat room, hosted by Agitator. You can come in and log in with your own screen names, or whatever you want. I don't know how many the room will accommodate. I've seen it pretty full at election time. Anyway, just wanted everybody to have the link bookmarked where you can access it when FR goes dark later.

There's no show tonight, but sometimes Agitator plays music. He's been working on the equipment too though, so no guarantees.

We all were. For once, I think those that had to work today were blessed. Although, I don't work well on the days I don't have my FReep fix with my coffee.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone, or even making any kind of comment on the Yahoo thing, but I did go there today and a while later got a really ungly email so I don't think I'll do that again.

When FR was down this AM I got my entire house clean. I sure hope that never happens again! There is no need for a computer if FR is down!!!!

It's true!
When FR is down, I don't see the point of going on line.
Fortunately, Instapundit, Polipundit, National Review Online are starting to fill the void.
However, they are shallow and unsatisfactory substitutes for FreeRepublic.
For some reason when I tell my wife about this she starts to cry. Not sure why...
