It would be somewhat misleading to call this a freep, as I wasn't involved in any official FReep (the trip to Miami was too spontaneous to plan anything with you all), but here is my report and some pictures I took last night in Miami before, during, and after the debates. If the S. Florida FReepers held their own FReep, I hope you all post a report soon!
Before the debates, I was on the intersection of U.S. 1 and 40th holding signs with fellow Bush people. I think there was over 20 people there. Our entire intersection was all Bush/anti-Kerry. Many of the other intersections were mixed with lots of Kerry people. One Kerry guy tried to fight with us, but he gave up pretty quickly. One of his responses was "If Bush wins, I'm moving to South America!" Everyone told him "Good!" or "Have fun!" ;-)
The response from cars was amazing. I would say about 70% gave us honks/thumbs up, 20% did nothing, and 10% flicked us off/thumbs down/yelled obscenities/etc. I thought the support would be split pretty even, guess not! There were people holding Bush signs out their cars, yelling back in support. Many big trucks honked their loud horns for us too, which was very encouraging. There was a firetruck that went by a couple of times that gave us very long honks, and had a huge Bush/Cheney sign on the side, and on the back said "Firefighters for Bush!" There were a few times when traffic was stopped at the lights, and tons of cars just held down their horns while waiting! So loud!
Bush's motercade came by first (Kerry was supposed to be 15 minutes before Bush, but you know Kerry!). I couldn't tell which car was his, but everyone showed their support. When Kerry came by, we booed, and yelled 'Four More years" at their cars. We saw Kerry's car...he had his light on inside, and was looking down, we think he was studying his notes for the debate. The cops were friendly at our intersection (I heard reports from another one that Kerry people were whining and the cops tried to make Bush people leave), he allowed us to stand in front of the stopped traffic, in the middle of the street, and would also tell us when/who was coming.
Afterwards, I went to the republican debate watch party at the convention center (coral gables?) All tv's were on Fox News. (what else?) It was great seeing the reaction of such a huge crowd to statements made by Kerry and Bush.
Right after the debate, Bush, Laura, his daughters, Jeb, and the Martinez family came to say hello to the crowd. Bush said a few more words, and poked a few more jabs at Kerry. The crowd just ate it all up!
All in all, a great night.

This was a very nice cop. While he wouldn't come out and say he was for Bush, you could tell he was no Kerry supporter, and was trying to help us out.
When the motercades were coming by, the cop asked everyone at our intersection to move to one spot of the street, and stand IN FRONT of these cars who had to wait for motercade to go by! There was a pickup truck a couple cars back with a bunch of Bush signs, and a couple of angry Kerry people in the cars too, angry that they not only were held up, but all these Bush supporters were in front of them with no Kerry support. ;-)

These guys had one Kerry driver stop in the middle of traffic and scream at them. He was quite outnumbered. I noticed other Kerry people during the evening would slow down almost to a stop to give us the finger, in the middle of a HUGE intersection! They'd of course get honked at by all the Bush drivers behind them! ;-)

After the debates finished, we were told Bush was coming to the watch party. This awesome Bush/event volunteer let me stand on the stage/bleachers being used by the press. I was able to get some nice pictures this way. I had my blogging tshirt on(no pajamas sorry!), so, side by side blogger and the MSM! (too bad I had no picture of that!)

Go Bush! We had Mel Martinez(running for FL senate), Bush, Jeb, Laura, and the Bush twins up there. Look at Bush's face, and also the reactions of some of the audience. You can tell he just cracked a joke.
