There have been several "live threads" posted today regarding the debate starting early this morning. Let's make this the official thread.
FR Live Thread: Bush Kerry - First Debate - Thread 2 - Here we go!
Senator Kerry said he will involve more nations in the war on terror; then he slams President Bush for allowing the Paskistanis to let OBL slip away and we should have used American troops.
Whoo Hoo! Voted against 87 billion!
Bush is KILLING Kerry with Kerry's own quotes!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!
Bush hasn't been that good so far. He finally mentioned the 87 billion dollars.
QUIT WORRYING!!! KERRY WOULD NEED TO SCORE A KNOCKOUT TO EVEN HAVE A CHANCE OF TURNING THE ELECTION. THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, NO MATTER HOW HE BLOVIATES :-))
I've never seen Bush better.
Bored by Kerry lying. Had to go to the puter room to post. Kerry and body armour? Huh!!!!? W hit with that one. Wasn't about to let his comments slide. Go W!!
I just tuned in and can't watch... too tense so I'm Tivo-ing it.
Any sense of who looks better? (Kerry's nails aside)
Kerry is shameless about laying it on thick. John O'Neill and William Weld said his brazeness would take your breath away.
" HELP IS ON THE WAY"!!! BAHHHHHHHHHHHHh!!! HAHAHAHAHAA
GWB JUST slam dunnked Kerry!
This 'NAM stuff again!
"I have to admit that Kerry is sounding pretty good------to those who don't have a clue and don't realize he is lying almost every sentence."
He lies and lies. Nothing Kerry has done or did in the Senate
supports his debate persona. He's a Dove lying BIG to act like a hawk!
Oh no, he is standing by the Vietnam stuff. He's toast. It's over. Where is Ms. Edwards?
oh PUKE He is actually going to talk about Vietnam.......oh my gosh I can't believe it!!!
I didnt know Kerry was in Viet Nam
I am about fedup with Dork man's BS..
"Weld said that Kerry is a master at obfuscation. Changes the subject to suit him."
I've noticed Kerry's strategy when Bush makes a telling point is to nod in agreement, as if it's not damaging. I've concluded you can tell which points he feels most vulnerable on from when he does that.
