Just as President Bush [related, bio] and Sen. John Kerry [related, bio] are preparing for tonights debate, so, too, are legions of others who are readying to provide a running commentary of the political duel on the Web. Bloggers are ready to offer a nearly instantaneous take on tonights proceedings. They are fast, opinionated and entertaining. Bloggers like The Indepundit - who will be live-blogging two events at once: the Presidential debate and the Navy/Air Force football game are ready to provide a less-than-traditional take on the political duel. Heres a list of blogs to watch during and after tonights debate: # Road to 1600: Dave Guarino
# Talking Points Memo
# AndrewSullivan.com
# Wonkette
# The Blogging of the President: 2004
# Daily Kos
# Poliblogger
# Citizen Smash The Indepundit

Try to lighten up.
You haven't been here long enough to understand the difference.
We are NOT a blog; and if they don't mention us, all the better; then we won't have so many vanities with people posting the first thing that pops into the little brains.
This is NOT DU.
Yep, yep.......LOL.
I think you meant #10. #9 was posted by me.
We can smoke in here?
Uh, I was only kidding, but why does post 9, which only says "FR is not a blog", represent some valid argument?
FR is bigger than that. Don't EVEN worry about us.
Wherever there's trouble-we'll be there.
Wherever there's a pol talking from both sides of his mouth-we'll be there.
Wherever there is a lying media expert trying to pass of forgered documents as real-- Free Republic will be there to administer the big smack-down.
Right.
And I am sure he didn't mean your post; your post was correct.
I do know the difference between a blog and a forum or "Bloggum" as mentioned above. It's just that, again, they're treating those aforementioned blogs as news sources, and if they're looking for political news sources, then we should be on their list.
lol, thanks.
I referred to the wrong post; my bad.
Freepers should be getting their best jammies washed and ironed so we can be at our very best for tonite!
A better question is why are YOU whining about this?
We're not.
It's the mainstream media, kiddo; they are so 9-11 they don't know what's what.
Besides, if the Boston papers are TELLING people where to look, what does that tell YOU?
I'm beginning to think we need a boot camp before Election Night.
Just teasin'.
I agree!!!!!!
Hey! No need to be condescending; I understand your point, I just thought that this issue should be addressed. A parallel example is "Why does Google News treat the Daily Kos as a news source and ignore requests to place Free Republic on their list?"
We should worry if FR appears on any list with that silly tart Wonkette.
Free Republic isn't a blog, it's a Bulletin Board.
