What I remember most about the effects of the volcano around here: truly BEAUTIFUL sunsets, from all the ash in the upper atmosphere.
Too much of a price to pay, however. I hope your predictions are true.
Send me a pic of the Audi anyway. *posting jealously*

I was playing road gigs in the midwest around the time it happened, and I remember that! We used to stand outside the band house and admire them...they were amazing!
I'll definitely send you a pic of the TT. : ) (It's a roadster...I didn't like the coupe.)

If it helps, I can tell you it's been in the shop eight times and it's a 2003 with 11,000 miles on it. : ) (I have a love/hate relationship with this car.)

What will the media cover if there is an eruption right in the middle of the debates, or, about 45 minutes before the beginning of the debates?

Yes you did leave out Halliburton.
They are making St. Helens explode so they can get huge no-bid contracts for the clean up.

One of the students who works for me has family out in that area. She's getting nervous about what's going on. Keep her in your thoughts...I certainly will.
