West Virginia and Minnesota would be two very good places to invest these $$$ for the ads.

Kerry may 'hunt', but he doesn't SUPPORT hunting if we do it.

He voted to ban the .30-30. So if he says he supports hunting, he's a f'ing liar.

Kerry is infamous for his flip flops, but trying to portray himself as "pro 2nd ammendment" is an outright lie.

Well, I guess is does come down to how one reads the 2nd Ammendment. Kerry, et. al. have somehow convinced themselves that allowing people to possess militarily useless "hunting firearms" is to be for the 2nd Ammendment. This is nonsense of course.

In the 18th century, no one would have considered stopping citizens from owning a "squirl gun", etc.; even a despot. The 2nd Ammendment was written to ensure that military type firearms (in the 18th century that would be a musket which was useless for hunting) were available to citizens. The modern day equivalent of an 18th century musket would be an AR-15 rifle(civilian equivalent to a M-16). I doubt anyone would use an AR-15 for hunting (other than varmits like prairie dogs). Its purpose is military.

Kerry and his like do not want you or I to possess an AR-15.

"It's amazing that the leadership of the NRA would attack a lifelong hunter," said Kerry spokesman Chad Clanton. "John Kerry has been hunting since he was a young boy. Anyone who tells you otherwise just isn't telling you the truth."

It is not about hunting you idiot! It is about the second amendment and protecting our right to own guns and self protection from criminals and tyrants.

Amen to that. This is what I was trying to say, but took to long to say it.

Poodles were once hunting dogs and France once had an army considered to be among the best in the world. How time have changed.

"NRA ad campaign portrays Kerry as poodle"

That's dishonest. it is portraying a poodle in a Kerry sweater, not the candidate AS a poodle.

I would like to see Gander Mountain and Cabela's use their big billboards along the interstates
to let folks know about this...

That may very well have an impact on fence sitter sportsmen...

imo

However, the Massachusetts senator has voted in favor of gun control...

They make it sound like its a bad thing.

What is it exactly that you are trying to say?

Welcome to FR.

In the short time you have left here, would you like to support your statement on why it's not a 'bad thing'?

I plan to be volunteering at a pro-carry, pro-gun table at one of Minnesota's largest gun shows this weekend with some of these NRA-ILA flyers.

I just got a phone call from NRA last night confirming my attendance next week at the grassroots seminar held here in Miami. They're not futzing around with this election! Futzing? :~}

>>>>"It's amazing that the leadership of the NRA would attack a lifelong hunter," said Kerry spokesman Chad Clanton.

So, being a lifelong hunter is a get out of jail free card that lets you vote for whatever anti hunting bill you want? They can't defend his voting record, so they try to change the subject.
