"Boy Bush is one powerful man."

LOL, isn't he though. Look at what he's up to with Mount St. Helen's.

Yes, they have sesmographs all over the place in that area. In fact the USGS has an office in Parkfield, which has a population of 100 people (approx) and thousand of cattle.

I know, between causing the earthquakes, hurricanes and now causing Mount St. Helens to erupt, how does he have the time?*

*Only those on DU can explain.

I didn't feel it, my Mom called me to aske if I felt it.

My house must be on very solid ground because I didn't even feel the big SF quake in 89.

The 5.0 was followed by a 4.5 just two minutes later. These are slightly northward on the fault from yesterday's epicenters.

Thank you for the graphics. I am html handicapped.

It looks like the epicenters are moving toward SF. This is not good.

Look at what he's up to with Mount St. Helen's.

That could certainly be Bush's fault too, depending on whom you ask ... some scientists speculate that the recent volcanic rumblings are the result of heavy rainfall seeping through the rocks in the lava dome and crater floor.

Not really. It's not uncommon for aftershocks to creep up or down the fault. This is pretty normal for the area, as that section of the fault relieves stresses. It's a long way from there to San Francisco.
