Democrat A-Team in 2008
http://www.dontmoveon.org/Edwards2008.htm ^ | 28 Sept. 2004 | Bob Redman

Hillary will only risk running for the presidency in an election she can rig. That would require some Democrat to pave the way for her. Not just any old hack will do, nor a restive glory-hound. It would have to be someone whose utopian socialist credentials and lack of scruples are impeccable, but who looks good and can wow crowds, and who, above all, can follow directions. We need only look at the progress of the campaign since last fall to find someone who fits this description - John Edwards.

Edwards will not be a contender in 2008.

Parties are no longer in the business of renominating failures.

All the more reason for Rudy to beat her in 2006 senate race.

John Edwards is a pathetic girly man.

He is so squishy and sickly, he has become a laughing stock.

His effeminate persona may appeal to the mother instinct in some of the ladies, but he's a major turn-off to any man that can call himself a man.

Here's an easy way to understand what I mean.

If you're a man, would you want your son to grow up looking and acting and talking like John Edwards?

Didn't think so.

Hillary-Richardson will be the 2008 ticket. You read first here (when it was posted probably over a year ago).

The first part of this is correct, the second flawed.
If Hillary is the Democratic nominee, I predict she'll select Brark Obana as a running mate.

Or possibly even Barack Obama.

Have you ever thought of starting a Hillary Paranoia Club?

You shouldn't have any trouble rounding up plenty of members. ;)

Notice how Terry Macauliff has botched the entire campaign for Kerry with a series of totally stupid DNC decisions. He can't possibly be that dumb. I think it secures his position when Kerry fails (otherwise a Kennedy person takes over) and allows hims to keep Bill and Hillary actually running the party through 2008. That is what counts to a true Clintonite waiting for her highness to claim her crown.

Look for Clinton/McCain or McCain/Clinton in '08.

Edwards never even talked to the army recruiter. Not in these times.

I doubt John McClain would be willing to run under or with Hillary Clinton.

I doubt John McClain would be willing to run under or with Hillary Clinton. If - when - Kerry looses, Edwards will be consigned to the oblivion from which he sprang.

The fact is McCain will be 72 in 2008, and a cancer survivor (3 times?). His time for running for Prez is over and he has indicated that.

Edwards couldn't even get reelected to his Senate seat. In 2008 he will still have the same (lame) set of credentials he has today. This was his shot.
