Heinz Kerry criticizes Bush admin for warning signals to Iran about developing nukes

In appearances here and before a crowd of 1,700 in Fort Collins, Heinz Kerry echoed her husband's views about terrorism, national security, crime, health care and education.

She said the United States needs a different approach in the world.

"The way we live in peace in a family, in a marriage, in the world, is not by threatening people, is not by showing off your muscles. It's by listening, by giving a hand sometimes, by being intelligent, by being open and by setting high standards," she said at the CSU rally.

In Pueblo, Heinz Kerry sounded a similar theme, criticizing the Bush administration for sending warning signals to Iran about developing nuclear weapons.

"There are about 50 countries in the world that have the capability to build nuclear weapons. Are we going to attack them all?" she said.

Someone should ask Kerry if he agrees with Teresa's comments.

If Kerry's position is that we shouldn't be concerned with Iran developing nuclear weapons, he will carry no states at all. Zero!

Are they running to be co-presidents like Slick & Hilly?

I don't recall a previous campaign in which a prospective first lady was as outspokenly aggressive as Terry Kerry.

John Kerry wants Iran to have nuclear weapons!

(If he doesn't, let him slap down his wife in public.)

What IS this woman on? That's all I can imagine, she's on something. Why else would one, HOW else could one, utter such nonsense in a post 9/11 world??

Teresa of Africa really is out of her league.

She must have been a fine looking woman in her younger years because she surely is no Mensa candidate and the warmth she projects registers damn near absolute zero.

No, just the ones that support Islamofascist terrorists.

Of course, not, idiot. We won't attack ourselves, Britain, or Israel. Anybody else is fair game.

It would be such a wonderful sight, to see Teresa swimming back to Africa with John Kerry and Ted Kennedy under each arm.

What? She wants us to just drop in unannounced? Sounds good to me but what about all this sensitivity and communication stuff she has been preaching?

good one.

reminds me of the line in the Godfather - when Michael is asked "do you want to wipe out everybody"? "no, just my enemies".

If they declare hostility towards the United States, yes.

Yep, that's really going to reach those islamofascists. Just show how we don't mean them any harm and they'll go away and be nice. I can't think of a more concise way of explaining the liberal mindset then these words by Teresa.

I'd like to build the world a home
and furnish it with love
grow apple trees and honey bees
and snow white turtle doves

I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony
I'd like to hold it in my arms
and keep it company

I'd like to see the world for once
all standing hand in hand
and hear them echo through the hills
for peace throuout the land

thats the song I hear
Let the world sing today
a song of peace
that echoes on
and never goes away

I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony

I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony

I'd like to build the world a home
and funish it with love
grow apple trees and honey bees
and snow white turtle doves

I'd like to teach the world to sing
in perfect harmony
I'd like to hold it in my arms
and keep it company
