Dumb women for Bush?

Are women on the East Coast smarter because they like John Kerry? Are women in the Midwest dumber because they don't like Kerry as much?

I wrote an article this week about how women are not supporting Kerry at the same level as they supported Al Gore in 2000. Citing a series of polls done for Knight Ridder and MSNBC, I noted that Kerry's support from women was lagging in Missouri and Ohio, two battleground states. Consequently, Kerry was trailing Bush in those states.

One woman who read the article in Philadelphia did not think it was news.

"I don't understand how it's anything new in the states you are citing," she said in a voice message left at my office. "Everyone knows Missouri, Ohio, that's going to be the polls there.

"Those of us who are more educated on the East Coast, women, are going to vote for Kerry. We always have. We always will."

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter had a different take. The trend made her "proud" of her gender, she said.

The person quoted (if she even exists) is merely trying to mask her deep insecurities. Of the handful of people I personally know that attended elite Ivy League universities (including my wife), it turns out that I'm the most liberal.

Mf wife (then girlfriend) was barely out of college in '92, but instinctively knew that Clinton was a skank. To this day, she's the registered Republican in the family.

These lefty women love other women and embrace them IF they are unmarried, childless and working and just these things make you a genius in their book. You've got to be a genius to know better not to marry a man and have children.

I read an article that showed percentages of women being overweight in large metropolitan areas across America, and guess what city had the highest percentage of heifers? Yep! Philadelphia. OK, so let us look at the nirvanna that these 'educated' East Coast women have created in their communities.......

These 'educated' citizen have continuously elected representatives that have delivered the highest poverty rates, the worst school systems, the highest murder rates, and more racial division than can be found anywhere else in the nation.

One correction, Ann Coulter admitted that people of our gender don't tend to be very smart. I agree to a point. About politics she's right. We are far too emotionally driven, or vote for someone cause he's the "cutest" candidate. Not that all females are that way, but we tend to be swayed by that which hits us in the gut, rather than that which hits us in the head.

PS- Ann Coulter was praising the trend towards Bush because she said that women don't tend to be very smart. This indicates she felt they were acting smart by going to Bush.

There is such a thing as being "overly educated."

This happens when when the doctrinaire of the classroom overtakes common sense, and all you're left with is a "bubble" to live in that doesn't reflect reality.

Being "better educated" doesn't mean that daddy sent you to a "name brand" school. It means you've been equipped to deal with life as it really is - not as you'd like it to be.

In this respect the woman caller from Philadelphia has been educated at a lower level than she thinks, and is ill prepared to face the realities of a war-time life.

This arrogant "elitist" mentality is typical of East Coast Liberal/Socialist's latte drinkers. Thankfully, for the American male, this is a large country where common sense women abound.
