I'm going to give you all the information I have and hopefully people here can narrow this down and verify it.
I was just listening to the Chris Baker show on 950 KPRC and a woman called in response to another caller who implied George Bush wasn't being honest with people about his record.
Her response was that it's John Kerry who's trying to mislead people, because he's running an ad in battleground states featuring a man who claims he voted for George Bush in 2000 but will be voting for John Kerry this year.
The host asked her why she considered that misleading.
Her answer?
The man in the commerical is a MEMBER OF HER FAMILY and is actually a CONVICTED FELON and who was INELIGIBLE to vote in 2000 and will STILL BE INELIGIBLE this year!
Is it possible John Kerry really has an ad featuring an endorsement from a felon stating his intent to ILLEGALLY vote for John Kerry?
That's all I know, unfortunately. And I don't have time to chase this down and verify it. If anyone else here knows of the ad, and knows if it's one of the ads on his site, it'd be a hell of a scandal if it's true. It's possible the man's name is in the ad.
Wish I had more, but it's a start.
Not enough info to go on...
I've seen the ad. Wonder how anyone would track this down?
Is it the Kerry campaign ad or a 527 Move On ad? Just curious. Any idea of what the ad says?
Start from the beginning... what state?
What state is this about?
Everyone be careful.....there are people out to make this site look bad....so before you chase your tails hunting down something that may not even be true.......think first.
Excellent advice Dog.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Anything is possible but I can't imagine them being this dumb.
I'm in Texas, and considering this is primarily a local Houston / Gulf Coast Area talk show I would say she was as well.
If you mean the states the ads are running in, I don't think she said. If she did I didn't hear it.
Not much to go on is right.
It's a Houston station....
This site lists folks that voted for Bush in 2000 and are changing their vote this time:

I dunno - Keep Digging Freepers
Interesting. We posted the same idea in the same second.
What's the name of the guy in the commercial? I am sure there are some FReepers who can do a criminal background check.
Oops. That was supposed to be addressed to you.
I agree - it will only take chasing one false lead for Freepers to be discounted in the MSM. Even though I'm a very new member - I am amazed and humbled at the great logic and foresight of the many members of FR. Let's be careful - there ARE people out there wanting to discount us in the most visible way they can.
I'm not gonna watch their ads, but none of the many videos at the Kerry website look like what you describe. It may well be a 527 ad.
Hi Newbie!! Sept 14 sign-up.
I agree.
This happens to come a day after all the "felons can't vote" garbage was published in all the newspapers.
I am suspect that a) new poster has this and b) if it is a convicted felon, so are their voters.
I'm for backing off this.
e-mail the info to RNC, maybe they can look into it. Looks like someone should be able to check with the radio host, he should still have the tape of the conversation.

Since you are the one, who heard it, it would be better if you told them about it, and specifically where and when did the ad run, if you know.
