The contrast is quite telling, is it not?

Sgt. Wanda Dabbs, 230th. On president: "This is very exciting." On the mission: "I'm ready. I'm ready to go 'til the mission is done." Sgt. Shelly Bivens, 230th, Enthusiastic about mission? "I'm excited to serve our country."

May God bless these brave, honorable men and women.

And, may they know we're grateful....and praying for them.

I'm 56 years old, a Vietnam era vet, Poly Sci grad cynic yet this brings tears to my eyes. And this man flew F-102's so I can guarantee you he's not afraid to fly.

Are we to assume that Milbank went down the aisle and asked the men and women if they had their absentee ballots?

What bull!

Bush gives orders aboard AF1 to wait for outbound troops so he can wave them off.

Jimmy Carter used to give, or not give, orders aboard AF1 to the steward to be relayed to the WH to let the aides in DC know if they could, or could not, use the tennis court in his absence (per Ronald Kessler, in _A Matter of Character_, quoting a Secret Service agent).

Thank you for your service, hero.

(I'm a little misty-eyed myself.)

Man I just love W

The main reason I love him is his love for Jesus Christ and he didn't change when he became Pres

He's still the good ole Texas boy (everyday folks)

God Bless you W

It's kinda sad that we only get to keep him for another 4 years. In some ways he reminds me of President Reagan.

"Reminds me of Ronald Reagan"

The similarities are amazing the one I like the most is that GW Bush says what he means and means what he says.
