I suspect that is a forgery too!
The only correct response to this for Team Kerry is to cut Lockhart loose. If they don't, they will bleed out in short order. (They don't lurk here, do they?)

No one needs to 'embrace' Burkett to savor the triangulation he's introduced to the scandal.

The trouble with Burkett is that he isn't a credible source. This is why CBS is in trouble today, anyone with any rationality knows this man is not credible. But he is intimately involved in this forgery scandel and CBS & Lockhard are hardly credible either. Which crook do you believe?
I'm going to side with Burkett here because Lockhart admitted to speaking to him. Only partisan hacks trying to save their own party's skin would believe they didn't discuss the memos. The difficulty is in proving it.
If Burkett has evidence they discused the memos, if he has hard evidence of collusion, the Dems are in serious trouble. To save his own skin I think Burkett would use it. He's insane enough not to give a damn what threats are sent his way.
Look what happens when you get Clinton people involved. Look what happened when Clinton flew out to "help" Grey Davis! Now Lockhart has "helped" Kerry.
I just LOVE it! Lockhart had been stating that they had no conversation about the documents. Of course, the RATS are going to call Burkett a liar now. I gotta get the popcorn in the microwave. This is too good!
