Brave lad. Just pained a democommie bullseye on his fanny though. He should just now switch parties, cause those liberals will seek to destroy him.

He's a conservative Democrat in an urban district. The leadership likes him. He has no reason to switch parties. People in the know have been familiar with his conservative views for a long time, he endorsed Bush in '04, I'm so glad we can get a guy like that in a seat that might otherwise have elected yet another liberal Democrat.

If he switched parties he'd be out of office by the following November.
