"Golden says that after following John Kerrys 20-year senate career in Massachusetts, he still doesnt know what Kerry stands for."
Here is a sample of his record: Kerry was lieutenant governor under Dukakis, one of the worst Governors in history. He was thrashed when he ran for President. Kerry was all for the passes for murderers and rapists which, once enacted, resulted in the rapes and murders of innocent people. He wants taxpayers to pay for all abortions on demand, including the partial birth murders. Kerry Has Voted Against A Balanced Budget Amendment At Least Five Times. Kerry Voted Against President Bush's Tax Cuts, At Least The Tenth Key Anti-Tax Relief Vote Of His Senate Career. Kerry Voted For The Biggest Tax Increase In American History Under President Clinton. Kerry Has Voted For At Least Seven Major Reductions In Defense And Military Spending Necessary For Our National Security. In 1996, Introduced Bill To Slash Defense Department Funding By $6.5 Billion. In 1995, Voted To Freeze Defense Spending For 7 Years, Slashing Over $34 Billion From Defense. Fiscal 1996 Budget Resolution - Defense Freeze. Harkin, D-Iowa, amendment to freeze defense spending for the next seven years and transfer the $34.8 billion in savings to education and job training. In 1993, Introduced Plan To Cut Numerous Defense Programs, Including: Cut the number of Navy submarines and their crews Reduce the number of light infantry units in the Army down to one Reduce tactical fighter wings in the Air Force Terminate the Navys coastal mine-hunting ship program Force the retirement of no less than 60,000 members of the Armed Forces in one year. Has Voted Repeatedly To Cut Defense Spending, Including: In 1993, Voted Against Increased Defense Spending For Military Pay Raise. Kerry voted to kill an increase in military pay over five years. In 1992, Voted To Cut $6 Billion From Defense. In 1991, Voted To Slash Over $3 Billion From Defense, Shift Money To Social Programs. In 1991, Voted To Cut Defense Spending By 2%. Has Voted Repeatedly To Cut Or Eliminate Funding For B-2 Stealth Bomber Has Voted Repeatedly Against Missile Defense. Weapons Kerry Sought To Phase Out Were Vital In Iraq. [K]erry supported cancellation of a host of weapons systems that have become the basis of US military might -- the high-tech munitions and delivery systems on display to the world as they leveled the Iraqi regime of Saddam Hussein in a matter of weeks. (Brian C. Mooney, Taking One Prize, Then A Bigger One, The Boston Globe, 6/19/03) Military hardware he felt we no longer need since the "cold war" is past. The money would be better spent on "social" programs. These weapons are now the core of our military might. F-16 Fighting Falcons. B-1Bs B-2As F-15 And F-16s. M1 Abrams. Patriot Missile. AH-64 Apache Helicopter Tomahawk Cruise Missile. Aegis Air-Defense Cruiser"

As Kerry moves further and further towards the Deaniacs, I wonder if Lieberman will also jump ship. I am half expecting him to do so

Brave lad. Just pained a democommie bullseye on his fanny though. He should just now switch parties, cause those liberals will seek to destroy him.

We need to really push Joe Lieberman to cross the party lines as well. I think in his heart, he knows it is the right thing to do to endorse Bush.

Sooner or later somebody on their side is going to have to take back the democratic party from the anti-American socialists now running it. It is not a healthy situation when "leaders" of one of the two major parties practice outright sedition. Politicians like this State rep, the mayors of St. Paul and Youngstown, Senators Zell Miller and Lieberman, and other democrats who are loyal to their country are going to have to do the heavy lifting.
When it happens what used to be called the "Democratic Party" will likely split and it's a guess which side of the "divorce" will retain custody of the name. This sort of thing has happened before (see Federalists - Whigs) but not under circumstances where a segment of the old party was actually in both word and deed treasonous to the United States.
People like Kerry, Clinton, Kucinich, et al are headed toward fringe party status. That will be a much healthier situation than we have now and a Bush landslide of historic proportions may just be what tips the whole staggering edifice over.

Here in Massachusetts he's signing his death warrant, even if he is planning on switching parties.
Here's to a courageous politician.

FBF,
Now all we need the Police Dept of Springfield Mass to Endorse Him like they did his Dad, He he....
I lived not to far from there and actually got to see it live, it was pretty cool. I remember someone (Gloria Mitchell ?) being a real Smarmy $-tch that day, the local Conservative talk show guy at the time Bill Brady was all over it !
The Democratic Mayor(s) in Springfield never forgave them and stuck it to them every time at contract negotiations for the longest time.
Welcome to Massachusetts's retribution politics. This fellow is best to declare himself as a Republican !

Golden joins a long list of Democrats who have endorsed the President Does anyone have that list, by any chance?
To: FloridianBushFan
You did good! And even MA has a few democrats who know a landslide when they see one coming. Kerry must be absolutely furious over this endorsement. I don't know which district Golden serves, but if it's Lowell, Kerry didn't bother to show up at a veterans' affair recently, didn't bother to send an I'm sorry, but I'm busy elsewhere note, didn't bother to send a surrogate. The vets were furious, notified Kerry headquarters, and were ignored. So they wrote to the local newspaper...Lowell Sun. Big embarrassment. Things don't look good in Kerryland. Rats jumping overboard into the Charles River.

Good news, but not suprising news.
In locales which are one-party Democrat party strongholds like Massachusetts or the City of Pittsburgh, a significant number of politicians and people will register with that party to preserve their electability.
