CBS was forced to run a fake story so early in the campaign that it was exposed as a fraud only because of the Swift Boat vets. These brave men, many of them decorated war heroes, have now not only won the election for Bush, they have ended Dan Rather's career. Worth repeating....

Problem is, media seems to be bored with the story already. They implicated CBS in doing something bad, beyond that will incriminate the DNC and they're not willing to do that.

"Bill Burkett, who's about as sane as Margot Kidder was when they dragged her filthy, toothless butt out of somebody's shrubs a few years back."
"In 1996, when Margot was going to write a biography of herself, she began to get paranoid, and her computer contracted a virus. Her manic depression, then took its toll. She panicked, and created problems in her head. This led to her fantasizing that her first husband was going to kill her, so she left her home, and feigned death. She even altered her appearance for dramatic effect. After an intervention took place, Margot got back on her feet and started the mental wellness campaign. Since then Margot has sustained her career in film, television, and theater, recently appearing in a Canadian stage production of "The Vagina Monologues". "

I think far more people would be receptive to her writing if she didn't front load it with mean cracks like this: "as sane as Margot Kidder was when they dragged her filthy, toothless butt out of somebody's shrubs a few years back"
I really like reading Ann Coulter, but if she'd clean it up just a tiny bit I could get more people I know to read her too.

Sure would like to see Ann Coulter replace Bill O'Reilly on the radio station to which I listen.

By now, the only possibilities are: (1) Dan Rather knew he was foisting forgeries on the nation to try to change a presidential election or (2) "Kenneth" inflicted some real brain damage when he hit Rather in the head back in 1986.Heh-heh-heh...
To: perfect stranger
Thanks for posting Ann Coulter's editorial. Of course, she is absolutely correct. Dan Rather's blind hatred of the Bush family is the cause of CBS's fraud-through-forgery.

Yeah, the "toothless butt" imagery was a little tasteless.

Burkett has compared Bush to Hitler and Napoleon, and rambles on about Bush's "demonic personality shortcomings." (This would put Burkett on roughly the same page as Al Gore.)I don't know, Gore may be a little further along in what page he's on.

They will try to let time sweep this under some rug somewhere as far as the news cycle is concerned. File it under "exploding toilet", and "tail-hook" and others.

I would speculate that if see-BS had dropped the fake forgery story 3 days before the election, the pajama people would still have been waiting. It might have sunk the whole dim party. :-}
Now if see-BS had used the right format and font settings in word, history might have been different. It's the little things that get you in the end.

CBS was attempting to manipulate a presidential election in wartime. What if CBS had used better forgeries? What if like Bush's 30-year-old DUI charge the media had waited 72 hours before the election to air this character assassination?Ann makes a great point.
This is exactly why Rather and CBS has got to be investigated, indicted, and prosecuted to the max.
However, as a matter of factly, hasn't Dirty Dan Rather ALREADY "manipulated" an election?
Does everyone recall Blather during the 2000 Election prematurely calling Florida "for Mr. Gore" -- before a strong GOP western Florida vote could be tallied?
He got the benfit of doubt then.
That should be considered Rather's last 'Get-Out-Of-Jail' card.
