I think far more people would be receptive to her writing if she didn't front load it with mean cracks like this: "as sane as Margot Kidder was when they dragged her filthy, toothless butt out of somebody's shrubs a few years back"
I really like reading Ann Coulter, but if she'd clean it up just a tiny bit I could get more people I know to read her too.

I wouldn't change a thing. It's a great big nasty world of scumbag dirty-trick RATs out there and she responds appropriately. You don't defeat evil by being "nice".
In a real shooting war, she could share my foxhole anytime. Seriously. I don't think I can say that about Peggy Noonan (too soft), or Laura Ingraham (wouldn't trust her not to scream and run off).
It's that hard edge, willingness to get mean and nasty, that sets the Philly apart.
In a world of frauds, Ann is Ann. I think having the intellectual honesty to be yourself is a more noble trait than worrying about expanding your market share.
If they think she's too mean, then too bad. They are not worth wasting time with. We will not prevent the destruction of our culture and way of life by being nice to the left. It's time your friends learned that.
