Problem is, media seems to be bored with the story already. They implicated CBS in doing something bad, beyond that will incriminate the DNC and they're not willing to do that.
They will try to let time sweep this under some rug somewhere as far as the news cycle is concerned. File it under "exploding toilet", and "tail-hook" and others.
Let's not mistake terror for boredom. The New Media will force the lamestream to either report on this continuing story honestly or be rightly charged with a) covering it up or b) spinning it. There will no sitting on the sidelines for them.
The old media perhaps, but that was expected. The NEW media will not let this story die before it's time.
