Paraphrasing - Fox News found out Mary Mapes was sending protected letters to a Prisoner in a High Security Prison in Colorado. Also what was said is Mapes holds strong Liberal views.
There was much more said - I was not going to post, but I saw that no one else did, so please add more info with names as they become available!
hmmm...deja vu moment for me....has this prisoner story been talked about in the past before???
Mapes was accused by the prison warden of offering to intercept a letter sent to someon at CBS by this one inmate, extract the contents and send it in a protective mailing from CBS to another inmate. Since the leters were sent as protected, the prison wouldn't be allowed to read them. Evidently the warden caught this being discussed over the phone. The warden sent an angry letter to CBS, so they knew about this.
".... Mapes holds strong liberal views."
whodathunk it?
I didn't catch the name of the other inmate or the date this occurred, did you?
They transferred "Corn Fed" to Colorado?
Mapes acted as mediator between two prisoners receiving protected letters, which was against prison policy.
Fox saying should Mapes "Stand Down" ?
it was.. and it gave someone day ja voo too!
Was it discussed on FR?
Please add as more is available..........
Story was done by FNC's Brian Wilson, not Carl Cameron. She was caught on tape working out a deal with a prisoner in CO to pass a note to another prisoner, using her position of reporter to avoid the usual security procedures that screened prisoner mail. Had her interview and communication priveleges with the prison revoked, and a letter of protest sent from the head of prisons to the CBS executive who yesterday was gushing over her integrity, claiming he had no clue that she would ever make such a mistake of judgement(so he was outed as a liar, too.)
Now why would Mapes not want prison authorities to see these communications? I guess the feelings expressed were just too intimate and tender for "the vulgar gaze of the masses." < /snicker >
What she did:
During telephone calls with a prisoner in a Colorado prison, she agreed to intercept mail he would send to a legal person at CBS (because the prison wouldn't read that) and she would send it from the legal department at CBS to a prisoner who is at a different location.
Apparently, he was not supposed to correspond with this guy and this was his and Mapes illegal way of circumventing the prison system.
They found out because the call was recorded and sent letters to CBS, her boss and basically forbid her from any correspondence with the prisoner again.
There was the recent story linking a Nevada prison to incendiary letters being sent to Governors . . . I'm sure there's no connection, tho. . .
CBS has been a criminal enterprise just like we all believed. We are just now finding out just how bad it is. May they rot in hell for all the FALSE and unlawful schemes they have put together over the years to hurt innocent people and help CRIMINALS (including the Clintons)! SPIT!
Is the prisoner's name Lucy Ramirez?? :)
Will stay tuned for the panel discussion....
Why the heck would she want to do something like this? The one prisoner, the one sending the letter, was some white supremacist. What did he have that she wanted?
