Just more proof cheney/haliburton is responsible for these hurricanes. Think off all the money cheney/haliburton will make from fixing these platforms!!!
Follow the money, people!!! It all goes back to the evil BUSHCO!!!!!!!
(okay, have to go rinse my brain out with soap after thinking like a DU'er.)

Wow, Looks like a production platform or the mast completely snapped off and sank to the bottom of the Gulf. It is also interesting that the platform itself looks to be right down at sea level. I wonder if the legs broke off as well. Strange, glad my days out there in the Gulf are over.

"This is what happens to an offshore rig during a storm like Hurricane Ivan" Did this happen during Ivan, or merely what could happen?
While working offshore, I was hit by two hurricanes. While in the middle of both, I was comforted by radio broadcasts assuring me that I had safely been evacuated.
It has been my experience that hurricanes are wusses compared to cold fronts for both wind and waves.

Man, I'm not that wild about walking around the platform of a rig on land when it's drilling, I think I am WAY too chickensh*t to be out on one of those.
