The practice of law would be wonderful if it weren't for all these clients with all these problems!Doing science would be great, if there weren't people demanding results!

Very true, the parents are often self-absorbed, but it's more than high taxes calling for 2 incomes. There are places in the US where taxes amount to a bag of peanuts (I'm living in such a place). Parents here don't need to bring home 2 paychecks, yet they both work. They do it for stuff---cars, toys, baubles---and for the high interest on loans because they can't wait to buy more stuff.
We use a cyber charter school. I don't like it but PA's unfriendly laws about homeschooling have so far discouraged me from traditional homeschool. Too much hoop-jumping---affidavits, log books, evaluations.

Thanks for posting the responses. LG, check out the school district's and emergency services' emailed apologies.

If Stoudt had offended homosexuals in this manner, do you think apologies would suffice? Don't sell yourself short. Mr Stoudt may soon be taking resume-writing lessons alongside Dan Rather.
Fire at will, pajamahadeen!
