pAtt yourselves on the back freepers!
They couldnt have done it with out you!
So when Dan went back to Texas, did the feds keep an eye on what he was doing? Did they keep an eye on Burkett? Have the feds tapped Burkett's phone? Or Rather's?
We will probably never know just how big, something about forged documents keeps reminding me of just how JFKerry got his hands on the Secretary of Navy Lehman's signature/autopen in 1986, while a sitting senator.
Lehman said he did not write the citation and he did not sign it.
But, but, Dan announced that if there were anything more to tell about this story that he wanted to be the first to break it! LOL
You know what I was thinking earlier today? How much smarter the rank and file Republicans are as compared to their dem counterparts. A blogger took CBS down, am I right? Who are the bloggers, they're nearly all Republicans or Conservatives. No two people deserve world-class beatings more than rather and kerry. This couldn't happen to a more deserving man. May he rot in History's hell.
;^)
If you haven't done so,read "SILENT COUP".
Nothing that CBS investigates will have any credibility with me. It's sorta like them assigning their very own "special prosecutor" isn't it?
"...Kudos to TankerKC, and Buckhead..."
Referred to, along with the rest of the Bloggers as the "Pajama-Hadeen" by TIME editor Nancy Gibbs on O'Reilley tonight. She had a self congatulatory little sneer, but I thought it was great.
If I were one of the Bloggers in question, I'd wear that moniker with pride.
Lets hope so
But when the first CBS story quickly turned to the possibility of forgeries, they had to put everything else on the backburner. My guess, drug use, a rape or something else was going to be dropping over the next few weeks. Just a theory, but makes you wonder. Because was CBS came out with on Sept 8th, wasn't a big deal if even true. Most of it was already known or suspected by almost everyone. Where was the story?
Glad to see USA Today used their leverage to further the story. Wonder if Boston Globe has another angle too.
Vixen. ;)
Damned if I know, but I suspect that he thinks that the ONLY people who are on FR/could do any kind of research are men. He's an idiot!
Bill Clinton, O J Simpson, Dan Rather, Hillary Clinton...
Wow!
LOL.....yes, it is!!
I wonder how the anchor-wannabes at CBS feel tonight; the "apology" didn't go very well, did it?
In fact, judging from what I'm seeing on TV, it just may have ramped up the process.
I don't think so. President Bush needs to appeal to women.
Women love Dr Phil. I'm sure it will be fine. Probably a continuation of showing the "softer side" of the President like at the convention.
Don't the dems say "It's the seriousness of the charges", for their reason to investigate anything. --
Doesn't need to be true, just serious!
You know, FR has been around for a while, but I think advances in technology, google and just the spread of time has made the internet contenders today
I don't believe Rather's hands are free of the same stains as Mapes.
CBS must fire Mapes, Rather, and their executive producer . . . and that's just a beginning. I think they will have to sweep away more than that to cleanse the network of this institutional bias.
