According to the CBS News web site, tonight's CBS Evening News will address the latest developments in Rathergate.
Let's pile on.
If so, how did Cleland get it? Who actually forged those docs?
Somebody SENT CBS TO BURKETT.....who was it?
If CBS was given a name, why didn't CBS follow up with that name ? something stinks about this story. They asked him who gave him the doc's, he said Mr. X, they said okay then and went on the air ? Thats irresponsible.
Could be...what is it?
That's honestly the worse "I'm Sorry" I've ever heard !!!!!!!
Don't bother with little girls on the telephone. FAX the President of CBS News, Andrew Heyward, at:
Andrew Heyward
President, CBS News
524 W. 57th Street
New York, NY 10019
FAX: 212-975-1893
I watched. I feel dirty.
I "tivoed" Brit.
Note to Dan: I won't watch again.
Note to Dan: Your entire career will not be "judged by that 7 minutes of dead air".
Note to Dan: It isn't over. I don't like being lied to. I am very motivated.
And what about McPaper? Didn't they get hold of some of these? How did they get their copies?
Im new here. What does bttt stand for?
Right. This "report" just raises MORE questions than Rather attempts to answer. Ol' Danny boy just keeps on digging his hole deeper.
DU is down?
Exactly
They went through the polite motions of an apology. They said they Heyward had initiated an investigation. The question is will the MSM lose their will to investigate a criminal conspiracy to unseat a sitting President in time of war or will the pajama people be on their own to seek justice and take this country back from tentacles of a political party that uses a broadcast network to do their criminal bidding.
"Somebody SENT CBS TO BURKETT.....who was it?"
Exactly. Rather said that CBS will be launching a full investigation. Surely that should be one of the first questions they ask. Will they?
Also, remember Dan saying last week that if the docs turned out to be forgeries, he wanted to be the one to 'break that story.' Yet here he was again tonight, talking about chain of custody but STILL not admitting that they're forgeries.
If you think that performance was awful, wait 'til Gunga Dan does Larry King tomorrow night. Snort.
Must be, because CBS knew that Burkett had given them the documents. And CBS had been supplied a name by Burkett.
