yeah- the Swift Vets aren't letting up!!!! *chuckle*
I don't feel sorry for John Kerry. I'm compassionate, but not that compassionate!
They came out with an ad where Kerry debates himself. ;-)

ondrudge they are saying that ABC is pissed that they are using their footage, saying the swiftvets are NOT allowed to use it and is telling the to stop the ads...
To: FesterUSMC
the truth hurts!....hope it makes it onto the airwaves.

Kerry is running for president, I wonder why ABC would object to their footage being used? Kerry HIMSELF is using CBS footage a fradulant documents trying to state them as fact...

Fester...you got it. The extra debate. Dan Rather presents the burning issues of the day to John Kerry vs. John Kerry. As informative as 60 Minutes. As captivating as Sybil.

As far as political commercials go, this one is a stinker.
I get the point they are making, but it isn't made very clear... they've done better.

Replying to myself... I just went back and watched it. It's too jumpy... poor editing... good message, just not presented very well.
The left COULD (and probably will) have a field day saying things were taken out of context... which they obviously are... hopefully the Swift Boat guys have something better.

on drudge they are saying that ABC is pissed that they are using their footage, saying the swiftvets are NOT allowed to use it and is telling the to stop the ads...OK. Down with ABC, the biased network. If they don't support our vets, who do they support?

The Swift Vets shouldn't just fold to Disney. They should ask for a legal ruling.
If the Swift Vets can't use footage of an extreme public figure such as a Presidential candidate, it makes things interesting if the network itself wants to pull up some of its own footage to use in a story.
If Disney wins the argument, Republicans ( other than McCain, Hagel, Lugar, etc. ) would be crazy to ever appear on a Democrat network again and Democrats would be crazy to appear on any network where their words could later be used against them.
Why would either want to take the chance that their words could later be used against them?

"The left COULD (and probably will) have a field day saying things were taken out of context... which they obviously are..." How interesting that you feel the need to speak for the left. The comments were not taken "out of context". I saw the very interview that is used here, live. Kerry was referring to his "medals" er or was it his ribbons.
To: FesterUSMC
Kerry: He's lying.
Yeh, but, John, he is you.
John has a tendency to get himself confused with Bob KerrEy, too. At least twice, John has claimed Senate accomplishments that were actually Bob's: Vice Chair of the Senate Intel Committee and casting the deciding vote for Bill Clinton's Jobs Creation Economic Package in 1993.
