Ahhhh there's the original joke memo. Thanks I could not find anything but my paper copy. I had to type-it up to post it. It was a good one. Should not of read it with a mouth full of coffee. Made one heck of a mess.

How about this one that was just released:

12 November 1972
Miramar NavAirSta
Miramar, Calif. 92116

Subject: CYA Document for CBS File

While on temporary assignment, I saw 1st Lt. Bush out here in California. He is hanging out with another pilot who wants to be a doctor. They were at a bar singing a bad rendition of a Jerry Lee Lewis song. I talked to some of the other pilots and they really hate how these two are always walking around saying the feel they need for speed. This one pilot named IceMan says Bush is dangerous.

(Personal Note: Some geek named Bill Gates told me typewriters will be obsolete soon and told me about his plans. I told him that was great because kerning is impossible with the stupid Executive Composer I'm using now.)

(Name Withheld)
Alabama National Guard
S-3 Clerk

I read this story in Unfit for Command, they said the contract to do the work on that port in Vietnam was given to a company in Singapore whose branch head was Kerry's brother in law (brother of his first wife).

I should have been more clearer. What I meant was this is made as a parody, but I thought the picture would make that clear.

"... but as long as I am bureau chief, the American people are only going to see this war the way I want them to see it!"

A guy called up Ingraham (iirc) a couple of months ago, saying he was a stringer (media industry contractor worker)
back in 1972.

He's on Dan's "Follow the Prsident" bus in some North central "democrat" state. They're passing through the only
"republican" county in the state, and all the Nixon supporters are out in force along the road.

He asks Dan if he should start filming the supporters. Dan responds something like "The American people are only
going to see this campaign the way I want them to see it!".

One would think Dan could expand his use of language.

Courage.

The story is so horrific. Please I beg you all, no more puns and jokes.

Just prayers for our maligned heroes.

Wish Redleg Duke had some evidence to support his explosive story written in #106, rather than hearsay. Don't doubt that what he purported did happen, but with some backup I can only imagine the upheaval this will cause at CBS if the MSM got wind of this. BTW Liz Trotta was a superb guest.

Message from Iraq

The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do something to pay tribute To our fallen comrades. So since we are part of the only Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could think of doing that is By taking a picture of Baker Company saying the way we feel. It would be awesome if you could find a way to share this with our fellow countrymen. I was wondering if there was any way to get this into your papers to let the world know that "WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN" and are proud to serve our country." Semper Fi 1stSgt Dave Jobe
