Kerry reception at Guard convention "icy."
PBS "News" | vanity

Posted on 09/16/2004 5:08:31 PM PDT by Jerry W. Howard

Just watched the account on PBS news of the Kerry Guard convention speech. They juxtaposed about 3 minutes of Bush's speech a couple of days ago with 3 minutes of Kerry's speech today. Although they made no verbal comment, the difference was so devastating for Kerry that I am amazed they showed it! (Bush was recieved warmly, smiling faces, appropriate applause, etc.) Kerry on the other hand delivered his defeatist screed to stonefaced silence. The camera panned at times to a few listeners walking out, a few boo's and NOT A SINGLE CLAP BY ANYONE IN THE CROWD! Kerry paused as if waiting for applause a few times, but NOTHING! I was dumfounded that they showed this on PBS!

Did anyone get another view?

Did everyone leave? I don't think it could get much quieter in there.

For someone who was once a military guy, he sure doesn't understand military guys.

We need leadership that responds to the wishes of others? Isn't that a follower?

It makes perfect sense to Flip-Flop F'n. :o)

It's kind of sad to me that this stuff actually works in the Senate of the United States.

2. Has reintroduced the mention of God and faith into public discourse. Curiously enough, Bill Clinton mentioned Jesus or God almost twice as frequently as GWB. 2. Has reintroduced the sincere mention of God and faith into public discourse. That's better - IMHO ;)

I like this one better:

Madison Long, 6, of Rochester, Minnesota, wears her hair braided into the letter 'W' at a campaign rally for U.S. President George W. Bush in Rochester, September 16, 2004.

I have an office worker (a democrat needless to say) who tried to take me to task about Bush's so called cowardice and draft evasion. I tried patiently to explain that flying F102's was probably more dangerous than on the ground service in comba, and that I had reviewed Bushes records and as a retired senior officer could see that all was in order. I then went on to try to explain that the Kerry / DNC / Rather effort to attack Bush's service was really dumb because it did nothing but offend everyone who has ever served in the military and there are millions of us.

Said democrat started yelling at me about how stupid I was for not "getting the message." I again tried, patiently to explain that the very clear message was democratic ignorance of, loathing and contempt for people who serve in the military, and that the line of attack was the dumbest campaign strategy I had ever seen anyone try. Said democrat then tried to explain that they were supporting the troops by trying to get us out of Iraq. I then tried to explain that the military views its mission as honorable service to god and country, and that supporting the military in ignominious defeatism was not see by the military as any kind of support they wanted any part of.

The shear complete ignorance of the vietnam era democrats is just frightening

John F Kerry is now nothing more than white noise. He has been severed from any sworn position he has held or held. Empty suit is an understatement... it's an empty soul now.

His rambling just reminds me of Fidel Castro... blah blah blah blah blah

NARCISSISTIC PERSONALITY DISORDER

John Kerry has a big problem!

Diagnostic criteria for 301.81 Narcissistic Personality Disorder (cautionary statement) A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

(1) has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)

(2) is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love

(3) believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)

(4) requires excessive admiration

(5) has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations

(6) is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends

(7) lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others

(8) is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her

(9) shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

HOW MANY OF THESE TRAITS TO YOU SEE IN JOHN KERRY? I SEE ALL OF THEM. KERRY IS SICK LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, AND WE CAN NOT ALLOW THIS NUT CASE TO GET ELECTED.
