Just watched the account on PBS news of the Kerry Guard convention speech. They juxtaposed about 3 minutes of Bush's speech a couple of days ago with 3 minutes of Kerry's speech today. Although they made no verbal comment, the difference was so devastating for Kerry that I am amazed they showed it! (Bush was recieved warmly, smiling faces, appropriate applause, etc.) Kerry on the other hand delivered his defeatist screed to stonefaced silence. The camera panned at times to a few listeners walking out, a few boo's and NOT A SINGLE CLAP BY ANYONE IN THE CROWD! Kerry paused as if waiting for applause a few times, but NOTHING! I was dumfounded that they showed this on PBS!
Did anyone get another view?
Did everyone leave? I don't think it could get much quieter in there.
For someone who was once a military guy, he sure doesn't understand military guys.
That's too good!
Anyone needing help getting to sleep? Here is your answer!
It makes perfect sense to Flip-Flop F'n. :o)
It's kind of sad to me that this stuff actually works in the Senate of the United States.

Said democrat started yelling at me about how stupid I was for not "getting the message." I again tried, patiently to explain that the very clear message was democratic ignorance of, loathing and contempt for people who serve in the military, and that the line of attack was the dumbest campaign strategy I had ever seen anyone try. Said democrat then tried to explain that they were supporting the troops by trying to get us out of Iraq. I then tried to explain that the military views its mission as honorable service to god and country, and that supporting the military in ignominious defeatism was not see by the military as any kind of support they wanted any part of.
The shear complete ignorance of the vietnam era democrats is just frightening
"he just said "When I'm your Commander in Chief..."
That is when I would have walked out . . .
"George Bush is wrong. Go back to sleep."
HEH!
His rambling just reminds me of Fidel Castro... blah blah blah blah blah
John Kerry has a big problem!
