Just watched the account on PBS news of the Kerry Guard convention speech. They juxtaposed about 3 minutes of Bush's speech a couple of days ago with 3 minutes of Kerry's speech today. Although they made no verbal comment, the difference was so devastating for Kerry that I am amazed they showed it! (Bush was recieved warmly, smiling faces, appropriate applause, etc.) Kerry on the other hand delivered his defeatist screed to stonefaced silence. The camera panned at times to a few listeners walking out, a few boo's and NOT A SINGLE CLAP BY ANYONE IN THE CROWD! Kerry paused as if waiting for applause a few times, but NOTHING! I was dumfounded that they showed this on PBS!
Did anyone get another view?
Why would the Guards like this jerk after all the nasty remarks this traitor to his country said about their service? Why would he even lower himself to go there?
He is telling them they are victims, they are being exploited. They need jfk to give them benefits. He thinks he is at the welfare meeting of dead beats who want, no demand, handouts

I can just read the headlines now on the MSM papers and in the lettter nets "Kerry's speech interrupted by applause........many times," that's how it works.If you didn't see it...
Listen to him pander about lack of equipment when the audience knows he did NOT vote to fund it. Man is insane and the applause you hear are from his lackeys in the audience.

Tuned out here as well. I did notice that he got louder and a bit more animated when he hit the part of his well worn litany of WRONGS....warmed over hate, his trade mark.

Around 4:30 (edt), Col Oliver North told Sean Hannity that John F Kerry is Anti-American. After work, I went over to Independence Mall and there were 2 park rangers out front.. I asked why the flag was half mast... this afternoon, a US Park Ranger was killed on duty.
I have a feeling that 40 years of history is about to be re-wound.

Thank you for your post. I traveled a lot in South Vietnam, on the Mekong Delta I spent a lot of time near Vung Tau and Tan Chow.
I have MANY wonderful memories in south Vietnam, and quite a few friends that were stabbed in the back (and murdered by the Communist North Vietnamese) when the U. S. left.
John Kerry lied to the American people (as he still does today) and caused untold tragedy with his lies.

I di not see the speech but I saw clips of it on the NBC Nightly News.
They showed the crowd on a few occasions and this was a crowd that definitely looked displeased at hearing Kerry's speech.
Most everyone looked like they were frowning and some had their hands folded across their chests.
I was surprised NBC would show this.
