The AP photo shows the piece of the sign in the assailent's hand. I doubt they did any PS job on this.

why is the photo different than the one on Drudge. The photo of her daughter is crying, but compare it to the one on drudge. It looks like photo shop to me.

Somebody linked the DU thread on this and the same guy has pulled this trick with his kids before, made news when they almost got attacked at a Gore rally four years ago.
