All these Polls out today seem to be going in two opposite directions. Some showing Bush pulling ahead in every state yet the Pew People are saying it is all even again? HUH!
Is the new Gallup coming out today?
If Kerry is closing the gap somehow, can anybody point to the state in which he is gaining? Anyone? Anyone? National numbers have to come from somewhere unless you are just changing the way you are counting things.
You know I wouldn't doubt that the DEMS are trying to influence young voters in a wisper campaign that the president may institute the draft..It is low and I wouldn't put it past them... I mean all this talk about vietnam and all... It may be wise for GW to address this simply show the military recruitment statistics and use it to his advantage. I mean he can even point to the fact that Kerry does not enjoy the backing of the military and that if Kerry were elected than in fact there may be a draft because the military may get out in droves since they would not respect Kerry as CinC.
I guess a little more tweaking was in order, or Judy stroked out!
It looks to be as if they included not only LVs and RVs, but SUVs, ORVs, TWVs, and ULVs.
For the non-cognoscenti, that's Sports Utility Vehicles, Off Road Vehicles, Three Wheeled Vehicles, and Un-Licensed Vehicles; all known Kerry voters.
I the guess the other shoe to drop is someone stepping forward and saying that the polls are being forged to support Kerry.
John
Strategic Vision ( a right-leaning pollster) shows Kerry up 7 in MI, and up 4 in MN. This is consistent with Bush bounce dissipating.
I would guess that as of today, W is up by 2-4 %nationally, and by 4-5 in OH, MO, WV. The situation in FL is harder to evaluate. The rest doesn't matter - only these four states. Well, maybe CO as well.
I hope Bush wins, but I will be surprised if he gets 50% of the popular vote.
The IMPENDING MILITARY DRAFT was a big topic in the Atlanta paper this morning. I figured it must be the latest talking point. Wonder how these people communicate. Forged memo, perhaps?
I just saw a rumor on another forum that Gallup will show Bush up 13 tomorrow!!!! Posted by some guy that has a friend on some staff somewhere....hopefully true!!!
I don't trust either of these polls. Unless I see a poll of registered voters, its worthless IMO.
I believe the last 2 weeks, Gallup has released on Friday.
Would you be opposed to a draft?
Do you oppose a draft, or do you see circumstances where we might need it in the next year or so?
We don't need a draft, and won't have one. So shut the hell up about the draft. Your continued needling about is getting on everyone's nerves.
Draft. Draft! DRAFT!!!
Fresh Agitprop Here!
You don't need a whispering campaign to get people worried about a draft when there are neocons SHOUTING that we have to invade more countries - Iran, Syria, Lebanon, etc. How we could do that without conscription, you tell me. Also there is the fact that guard is stretched thin, and they're being kept longer than normal - all in all, an "unprecedented" reliance on the guard, according to Elaine Donnelly, a conservative defense analyst. If there are kids (and parents) who are concerned that a draft might be coming, it's hard to say they're being totally unreasonable.
I'm sure that you wouldn't oppose a draft if the Defense Department calls for one. Have a nice day!
You betcha, because I think it's a real possibility. We don't have enough troops in Iraq as it is, to pacify the country - - and yet we're hearing talk of moving on Iran, and maybe Syria.
I'm sure you'd stoop to anything to defeat Bush this year, including spamming this website with agitprop, in direct contravention of our founder's prime directive.
God only knows why you're still here.
From who? Not from George W. Bush.
Don't believe everything you read.
