So, ya gonna post a pic on the Republican Babes ^ thread?

I'm looking at that thread now, and trying to come up with an answer. (It'd take a lot of guts to want to appear beside Michelle and Laura and the real conservative babes.) ;)

This will probably end up being one of those 5000+ post threads. We don't often have a chance to "vent" like this. LOL

He was dry and funny, too, like Dennis Miller. Kind of a jerk though, and not nearly as cute and cool as my perma-guy. : )

Joaquin Phoenix - Post 506

Joaquin was wonderfully creepy in "Gladiator", and looks like he has a hit on his hands with "Ladder 49", his new film about firefighters. However, he's not a Republican. He's one of the Hollywood left -- can't remember the details, but I've read comments from him in the past that were either anti-Iraq war or anti-Bush or both.

I really wish that Hollywood stars would shut up about their political preferences. I'd rather concentrate on their fine performances, their talent, than on their political persuasion. I'd rather not know their politics (unless it agrees with mine, hehehe.)

Aw, hell. I posted my pics up there. My Mom even tells me I look like Mel (When my hair was a bit shorter, though).

"Dimple in chin, devil within". ROFL He looks like a lot of fun. *wicked grin* Is he married? (I'm thinking for you, of course).

LOL!!!! He's really cute, and he was MVP of the super bowl. He's the most eligible bachelor in New England.

I definitely think we can keep this thread going for awhile. After all, every time we open, we see Mel in the shower! Ya-HOO!!!!

By the way, I love your screen name. Kudos to your Daddy for his service on Iwo Jima. My Dad served stateside during WW 2, and my uncle served on a sub during that war.

Did you ever see the movie Inventing The Abbotts? It's one of my absolute all-time favorites, and Joaquin Phoenix did a terrific job of acting. Gladiator is another of my favorite movies and it just so happens he was in that one as well. ;o)

As I said in my earlier post, I don't care what their political persuasion is. I tend to believe that some of the anti-conservative mouthiness by actors is a result of Hollywood peer pressure anyway. I like your honesty I'd rather not know their politics (unless it agrees with mine, hehehe.). LOL

I agree with Laura Ingraham, that they should "Shut Up And Sing". I'll be happy to help Joaquin keep his mouth shut.

Then we get back here, have a light supper and see 60 comments in my "My Comments" page. ;^O

Just now getting started on playing "catchup", too. Yikes!

"I can not imagine dating or MARRYING a liberal. It's beyond my comprehension."

Isn't that the truth? Maybe there is something wrong with me, but I just don't find idiots, losers, girlie men or raving lunatics attractive.

We appreciate the effort. Although, JDR is a Tory and not a Republican. Immigrants...go figure.
