O'Reilly just said no WMDs in Iraq is the same situation as CBS coming up with forged memos.
And that Michael Moore's reaction to WMDs is the same as the right-wings reaction forged memos.
Time to out this creep for what he is. A self-indulgant phoney.
I've never been so outraged in my entire life. You expect crap from the mainstream press, but the guy "looking out for you" is only looking out for Bill O'Reilly and how he can get elected to public office.
What a disgrace.

Its like he goes to extremes just for the sake of appearing to be "neutral", even when there is no intellectual arguement to support it. NOBODY can be THAT neutral. I think he positions himself publicly to appear this way so he can boast about being non-partisan. I dont buy it. I think its pretty transparent now.
O'reilly "jumped the shark" when he tried to discredit the swiftboat vets. i have been angry with him for a long time, but this finally did it for me.
looking for himself and no one else!!
Much like CBS, O'Reilly is digging a deeper hole for himself. He doesn't understand that the libs hate him, so alienating conservatives will land him back on another tabloid show, if he's lucky.
O Reilly , fell out of Grace with me, a long, long time ago, his smug condescending attitude of knowing it all, turns me off. More than that O'Reilly is reduced to playing the ratings game, call it O' Reilly Overdose.
O'Reilley is Toast, Savage and Ingram will slow roast him over a talk radio fire. He's just Jealous of Brit Hume's and Sean Hannity's new ratings. "Pride goeth before a fall".
"So just how DID all those thousands die that were murdered by Saddam?"
Remember...Saddam was a SOCIALIST (Ba'ath Socialist party). Hitler was too.
Don't let the left get away with the Big Lie anymore.
It was the Pat Rousch incident that did it for me on O'Reilly. Boy, he really looked out for her /sarc.
It was the Pat Rousch incident that did it for me on O'Reilly. Boy, he really looked out for her /sarc. NOT!
A caller on Savage just suggested that O'Twitly may be trying for Rather's job, when CBS cans him (which I think they will.)
O'Twitly is a smug, self-serving jerk. I quit watching him over a year ago.
Fear not Laura comes on in a few minutes and she will kick his ass all over NYC.
Well, you're right as to the Iraq WMD situation. We cannot at all be sure there were no WMD in Iraq until we know what went over the border or may still be undetected. And it is irritating when Mr. O does his "split-the-blanket" routine and thereby dodges getting at the truth. And his self-appointed role as a "balancer" of "right" and "left" is disturbing when it causes him to spin and back off of the truth. Some of this tendency seems to come from his historical ignorance (on what happened in Vietnam, e.g.) or from an inability to perceive practical solutions stemming from ignorance of technical matters (e.g., his "solution" to the oil problem consisting of depriving individuals of vehicle choices.) Over all he's a pretty good entertainer but he is right when he identifies himself as the only one allowed to bloviate on his show. His ration of bloviation to actual hard-nosed investigation does seem to be on the rise, the mark of one surrounded by too many yes men. But the "new media" as it consolidates its power, will in turn become much like the old media.
I have always detested O'Reilly. So I totally concur.
He must really hate us Right Wingers. He lies almost daily about us. He forges more DOCs. then Cbs!!
Except that virtually every intel agency and public official (Kerry, Clinton, Bush, Biden) had believed WMDs were in Iraq at some time within the last 1 to 5 years.
OTOH, no expert is willing to validate the memos, nor have they from the get go.
O'Reilly has a few cheap intellectual tricks: the strawman, the tautology, the quod erat demonstratum. Let him preach to his "moderate" audience.
Could we expect anything but kneepads from him, if the jerk is showing up tomorrow?
