CBS finds somebody to back them up!
Aren't you a "Chick in PJ's?" :)
My old office IBM wheelwriter 3 is at my elbow on the desk return here as we speak, and another one is on top of the file cabinet.
I got them from a savings and loan going out of business sale in 1990.
And BTW, that is something the GHWBush never gets credit for, biting the bullet and cleaning up the savings and loan debacle.
I actually think I got it out a year or so ago to type some mailing labels. :)
I'm watching the interview again and Knox is saying she didn't type the memo and it's not the format she used
Then she says "There are words in there that belong to the Army .. not the Air Gaurd"
hmmmmmmmm
forgot to ping you to #684
I think that particular statement might be a sign of senility. I wonder if she is on any of the alzheimer medicine.
Bump for reference.
Ah, but we'll all find out on 02 NOV, won't we?
Or ealier, when the October Surprise occurs...
"To start out with, Knox contacted the Houston Chronicle herself. They did not find her - she found them. What did she have to tell them last week?"
"Knox said last week she had not seen the disputed documents obtained by CBS, but was reacting to news reports challenging their authenticity, primarily by countering claims that Killian did not keep copies.
Last week, Knox said she had no firsthand knowledge of Bush's time with the Texas Air National Guard, although she did recall a culture of special treatment for the sons of prominent people, such as Bush and others. FR post and the Chronicle article
You got that right. For a GS-5 secretary who worked in a Texas AIR National Guard unit, she sure is awfully knowledgable about Army terminology. Sweet little old lady who was well coached and already imbued with her "selected, not elected" idealogy.
They're going to give up Burkett as the "crazy lone gunman" in the Book Depository Building. I wonder how fast he'll flip when the guys with badges start reading him his rights?
The only "reliable" thing she said is that she is "not the typing source", that they are not authentic and no more.
