Ken Charles kills me. He's not on the air all that often, except doing that commercial for weight loss, but he has a savage sense of humor and doesn't sit still for liberalism. He combines sarcasm with humor in a way that makes me nearly crash while driving.

Maybe he literally WILL kill me.

Three cheers for KPRC!

Hopefully, just the first of many.

Thanks for the ping. I believe the Houston station manager is following FCC rules. The licensee is liable for transmitted content. I believe other owners/station execs to follow suit. If law suits result from this SeeeeBS sleaze, quite possibly the station/license holder could be sued for libel.

Is that some kind of website or something like that???

That might be a stretch, but let's use that description for now.

Well, then, why not put the pressure on Clear Channel. Boycotting their advertisers might have some impact. They have a tremendous number of talk radio stations all across the country.

Yes, and the saddest part is that he has now alienated one of his heroin connections:

Source.

"I had someone at the Houston police station shoot me with heroin so
I could do a story about it. The experience was a special kind of hell.
I came out understanding full well how one could be addicted to 'smack,' and quickly."

"I've tried everything. I can say to you with confidence, I know a fair amount
about LSD. I've never been a social user of any of these things, but my
curiosity has carried me into a lot of interesting areas."

--Dan Rather in Ladies' Home Journal, July 1980 edition.

And we should not neglect calling in to those CBS affiliates that are talk radio! That will spread the word even further.

Window of opportunity is slowly closing... not a lot of time...

I believe the Houston station manager is following FCC rules. The licensee is liable for transmitted content.

This is the contractual out that all stations will have. They cannot be compelled to honor a contract that requires them to violate a law.
