Thanks for the ping. I believe the Houston station manager is following FCC rules. The licensee is liable for transmitted content. I believe other owners/station execs to follow suit. If law suits result from this SeeeeBS sleaze, quite possibly the station/license holder could be sued for libel.

This is the contractual out that all stations will have. They cannot be compelled to honor a contract that requires them to violate a law.
