Little Harbor is a division of the Hinckley Company.
Yachtworld lists Little Harbors but there aren't any 42s that match Kerry's boat as well as the Hinckley 42 I found in my post. The ones it does list are similar in design and flavor (just different sizes).
Here's another Yachtworld listing, this one for a slightly bigger Little Harbor. I must say that it looks bloody magnificent, old chap. But a boat of the people it ain't.

No, I didn't.
Dick Cheney should rush to Rhode Island and do a press conferance in front of it.

Here it is (a simlar boat from Yachtworld):
40' Little Harbor/Hinckley WhisperJet
Year: 2003
Current Price: US$ 725,000
Located in Portsmouth, RI
Hull Material: Fiberglass
Engine/Fuel Type: Twin Diesel
YW# 1712-1211750
For a guy who has time to windsurf, mountain bike, and shoot skeet, it seems odd that he'd have his 40' Little Harbor WhisperJet under plastic in RI....during the summer!!!??? (Well, ok, it does get cool earlier up in New England, but I never hauled until October when I moored in Maine).
So, yeah, he's hiding it.

As a USCG veteran, I'd suggest it's more of a metaphor for what is campaign should have been. It should have remained in the the shipyard, having never sailed. Because he "put to sea" with no destination, a course of lies and no moral compass, Kerry now finds his campaign hard aground on the rocks. Oh well, I doubt he really cares, because after all, it's only Tah-ray-zuh's money.

For that much dosh I could probably swing an older trawler that will go a LOT farther than that thing, pretty as it is, and be just as comfortable inside (if not quite as fast).

He would not have had to waste a perfectly good car.Since Teddy's car was "only" an Oldsmobile -- and an entry-level Olds, at that! -- I suspect he was looking for an excuse to be rid of it. I wonder what he got to replace it. Surely something more befitting a man of his status.

What scares me is it looks like my 1964 38 foot seahawk chris craft, but that's made of wood and cost me 3500

I'm not sure if he wouldn't have been better off admitting he was a New England aristocrat. He might actually get more positive press by having events in his yacht and his expensive homes instead of all those phony, vaguely humiliating photo-ops. I don't think people expect their President to be a poor man of the people; they expect him to be a leader. No doubt that would have been better for Kerry. Honesty is something that many people sense.
But, to be honest would be completely out of character for Kerry. Kerry is the consummate con-man, phony and charlatan.
