Kerry Calls Swift Boat Book 'A Pack of Lies'

(CNSNews.com) - Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry called the best-selling book Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry "a pack of lies" in an interview with syndicated radio and MSNBC TV host Don Imus Wednesday morning.

"Look, it's a pack of lies. It's an absolute pack of lies," Kerry said about the book. " It's been proven to be a pack of lies, and I have no interest in reading it," Kerry told Imus in response to a question about whether Kerry had read the book by Vietnam veteran John O'Neill and Jerome Corsi.

Kerry said the only reason the book has been on the New York Times best seller list for the last several weeks is because "right wing people" are buying the books in bulk.

Corsi, the book's co-author, questioned how Kerry can criticize a book he admits he has not read.

"Is he psychic? He says he hasn't read the book, so how does he know it's a 'pack of lies?'" Corsi commented to CNSNews.com shortly after Kerry made the allegations.

"There is no assertion in the book that has been refuted," Corsi added.

Kerry is an arrogant and sick puppy. His ilk live in a fantasy world in which all the purchasers of a month long number one bestseller are "right wingers" buying the thing in "bulk." I doubt Conservative and moderate Americans realize how thoroughly dismissed they would become during a left wing Kerry presidency. Kerry derides all critics he has zero respect for differing views.

And certainly the parts in Unfit about Kerry's post war bevavior are NOT lies by any measure.

I believe John O'Neill, the author and a respected Houston lawyer, has invited Sen. Kerry to sue them if he can find a legal basis for libel..........which we ALL know won't happen ;^)

Anyone hear Dick Morris on Hannity yesterday? He says Kerry is flip flopping because his base is fractured on opinions about the war and terrorism. Can't figure out why Kerry is campaigning on those issues. Also said when Clinton needed more the 42% of the vote to win, he fired Carville, Begala et. al. and hired him (Morris.)
