Hurrican Ivan really worries me. The states that will be hit hardest are the red states. I wonder what effect it will have on Nov 3. Voter turnout is extremely important.

What??? Bush is only 58%? Based on the number of Kerry vs. Bush bumper stickers here in N. metro ATL I would expect Bush to be at least 90%.....

The only Kerry stickers I've seen on cars have been driven by very ugly, hairy looking women.....

I wish I was in your area of the North Metro. All I see are mainly Kerry stickers in Cynthia McKinney country (North/Central DeKalb).

I love this time of the year.It gives us a census of the crazies in the state.36% less 25%(black vote)= 11% whack jobs.1/3 of those are Atlanta homosexuals. That leaves about 8% for the trial lawyers and university professors.

I don't wonder what effect the hurricane will have on the November 3rd election, but I do wonder what effect the hurricane will have on the November 2nd election.

:-)

Yep. Luckily there aren't that many crazies in our state.

It's hillarious though, I mistated Kerry's favorables in GA.. only one out of every three voters in Georgia (33%)looks upon Kerry favorably a three point drop since the last poll.

Kerry truly is toxic in Georgia. I don't think we'll be seeing Majette invoking his name or looking upon Thurston Howell Kerry for much help.

Majette was stupid - no way would she win the Senate, and she gave up her seat in Congress to run, thus giving us McKinney again. Thanks a lot!

yeah. I don't understand Majette's logic, unless she has another job locked up.

Georgia is nicely trending Republican on the state level and Majette is going to be left out in the cold. It's not like she'd get a judicial appointment if she loses in a Bush administration.

My county, Forsyth, goes Republican with about 85% of the vote. I can't recall ever seeing a declared Democrat running in a local election. In a recent one, there was a former Democrat who attempted to sneak in as a Republican.

Ah, I see you've met my neighbor here in Powder Springs...

I was ITP (inside the perimeter) yesterday in Grant Park and was amazed by the number of Kerry stickers, "War isn't the Answer" yard signs, and rainbow flags. It's like a different planet from West Cobb.

We went to a church picnic there this weekend and noticed the same thing. It's like a different planet from the metro Atlanta suburbs. If you lived there, you'd probably believe the CBS memos were authentic.

I actually saw a brand new Hummer H2 sporting a Kerry/Edwards sticker up here in Alpharetta this weekend. I had to do a double take. Remember, there are still lots of wealthy trial lawyers that still vote democrat.

I think that there will always be a lot more democratic stickers since conservatives generally don't deface their cars with gawdy stickers. I've noticed that the Bush camp has picked up on this and has a very stylish "W" sticker that has the look and feel of a ski resort sticker. It's effective in showing your support but doesn't make your car look like a billboard.
