President Bush made an early morning campaign appearance at the Coors Amphitheatre in Greenwood Village, Colorado, accompanied by Colorado Governor, Bill Owens, and NFL Hall of Fame Denver Broncos quarterback, John Elway, and spoke to a crowd of thousands there. He then traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada where he addressed the 126th National Guard Conference. First Lady, Laura was in Cleveland speaking at Cuyahoga Community College today.
Its a another GOOD day to be a Bushbot! Enjoy your trip to Sanity Island on the Daily Dose!

QUOTE of the DAY (in his remarks to the National Guard Conference): THE PRESIDENT: As the General just said, you've had many famous Americans in your ranks, including men named Jefferson, Madison, Lincoln and Truman. Nineteen individuals have served both in the Guard and as President of the United States, and I am proud to be one of them. (Applause.)
The men and women -- the men and women of the National Guard are deployed around the world today, fighting the forces of terror in Afghanistan and Iraq, and helping Americans threatened with natural disasters, like hurricanes here at home. I am proud to be their Commander-in-Chief, and I respect and honor all of those who serve in the United States Armed Forces -- active, Guard, and Reserve. (Applause.)
LOTS of pics, so be patient!!
Thanks for the pics! He's going to win big - we're all mad as Zell and we're not going to take it anymore! ;-)

Hi all!
Hi, I just got off the phone with my brother in MS. He said my mom is doing ok for someone her age. They think she has had a heart attack which is not surprising at age 100.
I'll take a lap top!!!
Thank you,oWf. Good to be here. :-)
100 years old!! Think how many times her heart has beat!!!

Kids have started back to school (YAY) Apart from a bad first day for the 5 yr old, all is well there.
I'm currently suffering from the cold from hell. Gah.
In other news my husband, who had just started Navy Class A Aircraft Mechanic School on Aug 26th at NAS Pensacola, has been evacuated to an elementary school 20 minutes north. Last time I talked to him was this morning.
Prayers offered up for all who have suffered the wrath of the hurricane season and for those in the path of the latest monster, Ivan.
Speaking of older people...did you hear Kerry say that Bush will take away all their entitlements??? I thought Gore said that and it didn't work!
Thanks for the PING, OWF!!
Good evening Dosers...
Long time no see!
