NEW YORK -- A judge on Monday tossed out a claim by Paula Jones that a real estate tycoon owes her $1 million he had promised if she dropped her lawsuit against President Clinton.

U.S. District Judge Peter Leisure wrote that he concluded Jones agreed not to accept the $1 million from Abe Hirschfeld during her settlement negotiations with Clinton.

PAULA Jones is pregnant. Bill Clinton's Arkansas nemesis revealed her infanticipation yesterday in Manhattan Federal court, where she's suing eccentric developer Abe Hirschfeld for the $1 million he promised her if she'd settle her sexual harassment suit with Clinton. She settled, but never got the $1 million. Jones' lawyer, Thomas Cohen, told Judge Peter Leisure his client is hoping the trial will take place before she gives birth in November. The baby would be Jones' third, but her first by new hubby and former neighbor Steven Mark McFadden.

I agree with everything you say except that part about Carter. He was without peer the worst president in History. Even Clinton, with all his lies and scandals can't compare with Carter.

For all his faults, Jimmy Carter was never a rapist like Clinton. There is absolutely nothing lower that a rapist president. The bottom line is that Clinton is the worst, period.

Bill C specifically selected Paula Jones because he figured she would be a pushover. Even if she said no, no one would listen [viz. her voice, demeanor]. Remember how he threatened her when she turned him down?

He even went on afterward spreading rumors that she put out. That's what impelled her to seek legal remedy. Otherwise she would have kept quiet.

Do you think that Clinton would have tried that with a woman who would stand up to him? Do you think that he finds such women attractive? Bubba married Hillary [admittedly no pushover] because of mutual political expediency, not attraction.

Criticizing Paule J is akin to criticizing a little girl because she lacked the b*lls to turn in her molester. The predator type [like Bill] is attracted to those deemed vulnerable and deliberately selects them because they pose little if any threat.

Whatever stupid things she did afterward only strengthen the point that Paula Jones was exactly the type Clinton wanted -- naive, and no rocket scientist.

I'm sorry I did not MISS the point, he selected, elected, or was seduced by Hillry, you cannot leave her out of the equation. The story of the women that Bill Clinton has used and abused covers the full spectrum.

While there is no doubt that he had not "FEAR" of using Paula because of who she was, Paula does not fit the profile of alllllllll the women that he has used and abused.

Ok, ok, lets compromise on this. Carter was the worst president, Clinton was the worst man to be president. I just can't get past the damage Carter did to this country. Clinton was an embarrasment and had no morals, but the damage to our country wasn't as bad. We still have not recovered from Carter's policies on Iran and the Middle East.

She wasn't his type [too smart, poised, secure within herself], it was a sort of arrangement, as I understand.

Certainly not. But that's what Bubba's attraction to her was -- her naivety and lack of brainpower.

I'm sure that they did have one thing in common. They were all deemed to be vulnerable in one way or another. Many of them were subordinates, like Juanita Broaderick. I recall Bill hitting on Kathleen Willey the very day her husband died. I don't believe he even reasons it out. As soon as he perceives a woman to be at a disadvantage, his hormones kick in.

Remember, this all happened not because Paula is a bimbo, but because Bill is an *sshole.

According to what I have read about bjclinton's excuse he blamed it upon his "demons" and he did it cause he could.


Paula was no doubt an easy target in his mind, however, I would say he miscalculated BIG TIME!

That's a reasonable assessment - but it is important to realize that Clinton was politicallly paralyzed for a couple of years due to the impeachment (thank to Paula Jones and several others).

You may be underestimating the amount of damage Clinton would have inflicted if the scandals had not emerged. In January 1998, Clinton was Supreme - then the Lewinsky scandal was reported. He would have caused much more damage to the country during his second term if we had not slowed him down.
