McPeak and Turner: Bush Dishonored the National Guard Then, Dishonoring Guard Now
General and Admiral Offer Pre-Buttal to Bushs National Guard Speech
Washington, D.C. - After a week of new revelations regarding George W. Bushs military service in the National Guard and just one day before Bush will address the National Guard Association in Las Vegas, General Tony McPeak and Admiral Stansfield Turner called on the President to answer questions about his time in the National Guard and also to own up to his failed record for the National Guard as President. Statements from McPeak and Turner below:

Talk about failed duty, Turner can speak volumes about that...just ask anyone who worked at the CIA when he was doing the peanut farmer's bidding!
Terry Mc: "I think it's true, I think it's true, I think it's true........".
Hannity had Dick Morris on and he said something like, Kerry is stupid to stay on this subject.
Wonder what the Guard thinks of Kerry using it to attack the President. Never mind. I don't have to wonder about it at all.
I guess he should have been doing something more honorable, such as going to England and Russia, organizing protests against the United States.
My, how their standards flip flop with the times.
They can say what they want about Bush's service in the Guard....it simply won't matter. The Vietnam veterans are going to hand Effin' his long ugly head on a platter in November.
Isn't it something, how Kerry trashing the "band of brothers" upon his return can simply be shrugged off as a "youthful indiscretion?"
Enough already. The Dems should reserve their slime for 2008 when Hillary assumes the throne and makes her bid for the White House. They're gonna need all of it to get her across the finish line. 2008 is gonna be a thriller.
All of this horse manure about where these two were 30+ years ago is wearing thin! Which one of the two candidates will be best for our future as a country? Which one shows up for duty now? Which one is decisive? Which one has best protected this country in the last 3 years? Which one is the realist? Which one is the opportunist? Which one do you feel most comfortable with? Which one, considering that both are politicians, is telling the truth? IMHO, it sure as hell is not John F'n Kerry.......................
I knew, when W didn't single out the SBVs, that the Dims and their PR department, known as the MSM, would haul out something like this.
I still say democRATS dishonored the military.
We will see on Nov 2 (Or 3rd. No longer than that) who's right.

For the next 50 days, Bush should give a speech a day in front of a National Guard audience.
My only fear is that Bush will get "kerry'd" on this issue, meaning because he is not refuting these false charges, (not that the ones against Kerry were false) that he will lose his standing. Remember all the analysts think that one of KErry's biggest problem was that he didn't fight back against the swiftees. And I ahve no faith in the average voter to investigate these claims either, which is sad. I'd like to see the President come forward and say something to put a stop to all this TANG stuff.
Kerry is making even Dick Morris seem like a genius.
Here's the deal: Kerry and the Dems are totally unprincipled vermin. They know nothing of honesty, decency, or honor. They do know that their boy got knocked down a couple of pegs by the Swiftvets and their attacks on Kerry's phony-war-hero shtick.
The problem is that because they lack a moral compass, they can't see their way clear of the mess they've made for themselves. They mistakenly think the problem is that Kerry didn't go on the attack against the Swiftees soon enough. Whereas the problem is actually that Kerry is a contemptible fraud.
Nevertheless, in their own view, they figure if it worked against Kerry, it will work against the President. So they plan on attacking President Bush on his Guard service, on the contention that he wore a ribbon he didn't deserve, and on the claim that he was in the Air Force, but the Dems say he lied.
What idiots! Keep digging. They just don't get it.
President Bush IS honorable. There is no reason for him to be ashamed of his guard service, he was a fighter pilot, he earned the ribbons he wore, he was in the Air Force while on active duty in pilot training.
The Dems learned the wrong lesson. They think they learned to go on the attack. What they should have learned is don't nominate a fraud.
When I was a ship's captain in the navy, we had a guy who stole some strawberries...yes, strawberries....strawberries
Bush can't and won't get caught up in this argument. The White House said today that "Bush was Honorably Discharged"...case closed. Kerry and the gang are up the wrong tree.
Capt Queeg, is that you?
