Some Coincidence Jim Geraghty at NRO's Kerry Spot has the transcript of Dan Rather's newscast defending "Rathergate" You will see he opens the defense with a series of questions raised by the documents. Now check out how similar those questions are to a April 27, 2004, press release from the Kerry campaign listing key "unanswered questions" about Bush's Nat. Guard Service. Quite interesting, don't you think?

You may be onto something major. By tracking back on the history of websites, WHEN did the Kerry website have the same technical errors about pilot medical regulations as the CBS (forged) memos.
Did the Kerry website have these errors up BEFORE CBS showed up with its alleged Killian memos? Did the Kerry website have these errors six weeks ago, when the American Spectator claims that the Kerry campaign got its hands on the Killian memos? Or was it even earlier than that?
In short, the detail you just noted may be proof that the Kerry campaign knew about these forgeries at the time they were made, or possibly BEFORE they were made.

Don't worry....the MSM will try to skew the voting pattern with false calls while the polls are open.

I believe that is the annual eval done by his TX commander while he was in AL. The evaluator writes that 1LT Bush was not present so can be evaluated by the author. Pretty much SOP stuff, but the peacenik liberal tree hugging draft dodgers don't understand that - they see it as being AWOL.

Whoops, "can be" should be "cannot be" in my previous post.
"May 2, 1973: Bush?s superior officers William D. Harris Jr. and Jerry B. Killian, wrote on his yearly evaluation form, ?Lt. Bush has not been observed at this unit during the period of report,? and that a ?civilian occupation made it necessary for him to move to Montgomery, Alabama. He cleared this base on 15 May 1972 and has been performing equivalent training in a non flying status with the 187 Tac Recon Gp, Dannelly ANG Base, Alabama.?

Yes, this is unedited text from the web site. Under Press releases, for April 2004, there are these "Titles" as well.

Now, what we do not know is:
Did CBS's forger copy the Kerry-Edwards DNC web site to create his fake charges in his fake memo's?
Or did the Kerry-Edwards campaign copy the already-forged, already available faked charges into their web site?

You know what's funny about Dan Rather standing by the authenticity of the documents?
He's never actually seen them!
He's seen copies of documents, but not the documents themselves, so how in the hell can he attest to the veracity of something he's never seen?
That would be like authenticating a Picasso by examining a copy of it!

I think nothing about NPR is interesting except the possibility of us pulling the plug on these liberal nut jobs. Someone tell me WHY we as taxpayers are footing the bill for this rank propaganda. Radio, TV, Bill Moyers, all of them------PULL THE PLUG, NOW.
That's entertainment!

I don't think this links the Kerry campaign to the forgeries. The "AFM 35-13" is apparently erroneous, but the error in both cases comes from a common source.
This document, presumably authentic, contains the error. Because the document has long since been enshrined in the scripture of Bush-hating, it isn't surprising to see it both in the Kerry hate site and in the Rathergate Papers.

Good point.
It's reasonable that the "root" would be from legitimate, contemporary 1972-1973 documents.
Of course, that's even more proof that the forgeries reading today's Internet files. But, that's a given at this stage.

It's funny to see so many Google hits of people quoting a manual that nobody can seem to find. "Oh, AFM 35-13, well, of course, everybody's read that. Know it backwards and forwards, I do. Of course any competent ANG officer would have known it like his own name; it really must have taken some cheek to flout it like Bush did! Why, my own copy is laying around here...someplace."

I'm beginning to wonder about the provenance of the document I linked. Everyone talks about it, but I can't seem to find out where it came from.

I will be first in line when EARLY voting day arrives. Early voting is for about 2 weeks before Nov 2, 2004. It will be crowded~
