PREZ ROARING FROM BEHIND IN JERSEY
New York Post ^ | Sept. 12, 2004 | ManhattanConservative

Posted on 09/12/2004 7:28:02 PM PDT by ManhattanConservative

September 10, 2004 -- A wave of new polls yesterday showed President Bush riding high across the nation — and even New Jersey now is a near-tie as Democrat John Kerry's big lead has collapsed. In New Jersey, Kerry led Bush by just 43 to 39 percent among registered voters in the new Star-Ledger poll — in a state Al Gore won by 16 points in 2000.

GOP strategists said Bush's Garden State surge may also show anger at Democratic Gov. Jim McGreevey's resignation in a gay sex scandal.

Nationally, Bush led by 9 points in the latest ABC News poll, 7 points in the CBS survey and 4 points in a Fox News poll.

If the election were today, Bush would win with at least 274 electoral votes — it takes 270 — the Hotline newsletter scoreboard said.

All the polls show Bush has a huge edge — around 20 points — over Kerry on fighting terror and keeping America safe.

Shell-shocked Democrats said Kerry must turn things around in a week or two to keep hope alive and one said Kerry strategists "are trying every possible message against Bush in focus groups but nothing is sticking."

Prayers offered up to keep the President safe from the despicable and slimy DNC attacks.

"Nothing is sticking" translates as "The Sheeple are not buying any of our lies."

President Bush has weathered the most vicious and and disgusting attacks over the past several years. From Hollywood creeps using every "awards show" and concert to trash the president to the Nazi-style propaganda films put out by scum like Michael Moore, President Bush has been unscathed.

Because he is right and they are wrong. And "they" are not liking it very much.

LOL I was just thinking I like "roaring" better than "surging" but now I don't know.

They are SHOCKED that we no longer trust SeeBS, the NYSlimes, and Time magazines typewriter repairman, to tell us who to vote for this Nov. Really, this level of delusion makes me wonder about demon possession.

"...but nothing is sticking."

Well, just feed Dan Rather some more forged documents. He's in too deep to say "no" now. Maybe some photoshopped pics this time, showing George Bush personally burning people's villages -- oh, wait, that was kerry -- or shooting fleeing boys in the back -- oops, that was kerry, too -- sorry.

Extraordinary news. If Kerry has to spend $$ to keep NJ in his column then that is money he wont have to buy votes in NM, WI, MN, IA, et al. And if there is a miracle and Bush-Cheney can win in NJ that sure will help pad their lead. Just maybe they will also take PA and MI.

one said Kerry strategists "are trying every possible message against Bush in focus groups but nothing is sticking."

What a scathing indictment of Kerry!

Instead of developing a message based on his core, Kerry, like a guy playing a slot machine, is dumping in nickels to try to hit the jackpot.

The man has no core, and everybody knows it.

Wanna hear something funny? The DUers were saying that they think Texas is close to being a swing state.

McGreedy did some "campaigning" for W. Same pattern for hippie RATS - get into government, pay off your lying skunks and media for getting you the "job", screw things up, raise taxes, angry people (even sheeple) and eventually get voted out. Republicans fix things up, RATS lie, get back by misleading, and here we go again...

The man has no core, and everybody knows it.

The man at his core is a communist. Since that won't sell, he has to pretend to be something else, what that else is no one knows including Kerry.

The DUers are good fun, no? My favorite is when they write stuff like: "I don't believe the Missouri polls. No way is Bush ahead by double digits. How do I know? My cousin's best friend lives in St. Louis and he doesn't know anybody who's going to vote for Bush."

Gotta love the logic over there. :-)

But the liberal Philly media keeps telling us how "popular" McSkeevey is now in NJ. They are even trying to float the idea that now he should not resign because of his "courage"!

He also is competitive in Maine, which will hurt his bank account.
I think he gave up Ohio.
I haven't seen a Kerry ad since pre-Convention.

There may not be enough drugs to get us through this election cycle.

Funny you should post this now.I was saying to Mrs. teletech just the other day that I should get in touch with our IBM typewriter repairman and ask which candidate i should support.
