Re Why Jane Fonda is walking around free, read "Aid and Comfort" by Henry Mark Holzer. The government had an excellent case against her but refused to prosecute for fear of being clobbered by the media. Book also gives an excellent review of previous treason convictions. JK definitely meets the requirements of (1) aiding the enemy and (2) such acts witnesses by at least two. Whether he actually intended to do so is unclear, as it is with Fonda.
He couldn't handle hearing it & he left the house. It's contrary to everything he was taught in public school. I didn't have knowledge to counter what he had been taught in school.
I was a kid growing up during the time & most of what I remember from it was too confusing. There were the loud arguments at holiday meals. There were the pictures of the wounded, riots in the city broadcast across the TV in my comfy safe suburban home. There was a trip to Madison, WI... Mess, grafitti & flyers everywhere, driving past the building bombed by the Weather Underground. Waiting to hear my older brother's lottery number, when he turned 18 in 1972...
It's taken me a whole lotta years to finally unlearn all of the lies I had been taught. Older people I knew who had served just didn't talk about it. In some way, this is also a form of my coming home too.

This party is now a group of PC speak, full of disjointed special interest groups, invested in them fully now for their funding, and has lost its conscience and its love for the foundations of this nation.
The late great dem party is in ashes...because the CONTRAST between President Bush and John Kerry has AWAKENED OUR NATION.
The old media that so pushed it liberal agenda, all the while denying, has been EXPOSED as a result of their panic as the dem party continues to crumble into the abyss of unethical and immoral channels.
Someone, somewhere, will hopefully reinvigorate and change the hippie mentality of the old guard and once again we will have an HONORABLE PARTY to fight against.
RIght now it just feels like good vs evil. I liked it better when it was Good vs almost good!
I don't know this song but the refrain is "Holding the flag for America" and there were those in the audience who started to sing along with him.

Yes you are right. Look at the men and women present. Compare them to the folks A.N.S.W.E.R. gets to show up, who will be voting for Kerry. That alone should tell voters all they need to know.
