Agreed: CBS, Rather, Kerry and the DNC engaged in a deception: NOW WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO ABOUT IT?

Alright, already.

Enough of the analytical pieces.

There's more than enough proof that CBS, Rather, Kerry and the DNC engaged in wholesale deception to dupe TV audiences, and voters.

Now what are we gonna do about it?

There are multiple legal avenues ----- plus economic sanctions against CBS------ that can be employed.

Post your opinions here. Then let's get on with it.

Somebody needs to get to Klayman and convince him NOT TO DO ANYTHING.

Well, it would be good to run some TV ads exposing CBS like the Swift Boat Vets are doing. That would shake CBS up to have their name dragged through the mud like that. Another thing would be for the WH to bar CBS reporters, because their news organization is not trustful to report the truth.

That's easily done.

I was thinking more in the way of "letting the punishment fit the crime" type stuff.

Agree that our first priority should be keeping Kiss Of Death Klayman out of it. Also, keep bombarding CBS with e-mails expressing our disgust. But we need to explore legal action -- concerted legal action that would actually force Rather to defend himself, whether in court or in front of Congress. Hassle him to his grave.

Not yet, dear lady.

My plea:

Keep up the pressure with the analytical pieces...

...until a perp comes forward or CBS caves...utterly...under the pressure.

Add to the reward for a typewriter which can duplicate the memo. See:

Then start a pool about how many days elapse from Rathergate to the day Fox buys out CBS.

It's time for a new news channel. Something that will put CBS out of business permanently. Only the American people can do that.

1. Organize a demonstration at CBS studios in NY
2. Organize a demonstration at CBS studios in Wash DC
3. Whenever we spot Dan Rather in NY, get into his face
4. Start calling your local CBS affiliates
5. Find people with Nielson boxes and have them boycott CBS News
6. Keep digging up data to keep the story alive

Does anyone think any of the Sunday Talk Shows will address the issue? How about Tim Russert interviewing Dan Rather? Ha Ha

Some people have postulated that the memos are the product of Clinton operatives, trying to cast a pall over any attempt by the media to ride to Kerry's rescue and ensure that there won't be a Democrat incumbent in the White House when Hillary makes her run in 2008. If that's so, it's a nifty trick. But if all they succeed in doing is destroying the credibility of their willing lackeys in the mainstream media, it might very well backfire on them.

We do abslutely nothing whatsoever except keep it on the front burner. The longer Rather has to keep talking about this the longer we have Veterans issues right out there. Everyone has figured out these docs are forgeries, but we love hearing old danny boy deny it.

Link Viacom, the owner of SeeBS, to the letters. What other media does Viacom own. Seem to recall Viacom has a publishing arm that favors anti-Bush tomes. It's about money and selling books, too, to generate income to be used against President Bush. It's personal in that way.
