Nick. Did you catch the incredible analysis by Joel Klein (sp ?) on tv tonight on O'Reilly? . He was the rep for CBS and another guy was the rep for the Weekly Standard. After a few back and forths Klein ended up saying that the network news was G-d and the bloggers who were disputing the memos were "some guys in their pajamas in front of a computer".

I've been saying for months now "Civil war in three years". The 'rats aren't doing anything or conductiong themselves in a way that makes me want to back down from this prediction.
They're religious fanatics in the sense Ann Coulter defined. Belief can differ but fundamental morality cannot and fundamental morality between to large groups is now diametrically opposed.
Do you think it's time for a divorce between the red states and the blue states? The terms can be amicable -- states can split the debt proportional to their share of GDP, and we can maintain a customs union.
Ratings. If Rather becomes discredited, fewer people will watch him. The fewer people watch him, the less the advertising sales department can charge for an ad on his show. At some point, the bean counters step in and say, "Rather has to go."
Before that even happens, I think we'll see Jay Leno using Dan as a punching bag. "Dan Rather got an email the other day. Yeah, it was from the finance minister of Nigeria. Dan offered him a spot on 60 Minutes."
Stuff like that will just destroy him.

I don't know when Dan was planning on retiring, but this new-fangled internet hoo-hah may prompt an early and permanent trip to the Caribbean.
There's no 'if' about it. If Conservatives and RINOs keep moving Bush's momentum forward for America, he can't lose. It'll be a landslide when EVERYONE shows up.
If more than 45% of the vote goes to Kerry, then America really is a land of stupid, selfish, hedonist-sheeple who care more about Aborticide and irresponibility than America.
This is why we are hated, because we have freedom. But we must STEWARD OUR OWN FREEDOM, EACH INDIVIDUALLY AND TROUGH REPRESENTATION! Right now, we must move the vote as we have been. However, we have to get the vote OUT on Nov. 2, 2004. And we may be attacked before then or that day, however, we must help keep Kerry from the CIC position.
The truth is we CAN NOT afford a Communist, French-corrupted, America-hating liar in the American WH. This isn't the time to play 'lab' and risk the nation.
In this land, where we are pretty free (and when the IRS/IRC is abolished, WE REALLY WILL BE MUCH, MUCH MORE FREE!) and enjoy many, many blessings - if we allow John Kerry to get elected, it may really say America has forever lost her way, irretrievably.

I have been seeing a lot of their commercials today. I would even go so far as to say that I've seen more Swiftvet ads today than I ever have before! They're even on CNN. I thought it was against CNN's rules to question Skerry.
