CBS CONTINUES TO FERTILIZE AMERICA/AMERICANS BY PUSHING DNC LIES INSTEAD OF NEWS FOR OVER 4 DECADES.

That's what the doc looks like? There ain't a typewriter on earth that prints that pretty. The rat operatives are so used to getting away with everything, they've become arrogant. Well, this would have worked four years ago, but the Old Media ain't the only game in town any more. too bad the aging boomers are too stoned to realize it!

In the 1980's WordStar and an IBM XT would print a document as it appeared on the screen. With the advent Microsoft word and WYSIWYG(What you see is what you get) All of that went down the tubes. Got a nice letter written in word? Looks good on the screen? But wait...if you did not format it using tabs and such...you are in for a big surprise when you print it out. Never been able to figure that out. Maybe someone here can answer that question.

Anyways this is one great day for freepers. I have not seen so much to cheer about since Sore Loserman.

You know I gotta believe CBS knew there was something funny about that document, but just didn't care.

I posted this on another thread and no one made anything of it.

The language here is even suspicious. Bush was not a very important guy back then. This is written like he was one of the biggest wheels around....just an opinion.

Someone else pointed out earlier, and also as I remember, Memo to file was not the terminology used.

'MFR' or 'MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD' was the terminology used, and words on the subject line were all caps.

Man, this stinks to high heaven. Hopefully the US Justice Dept is being flooded with emails demanding an investigation. And why not the House and Senate? Don't they have "oversight" or "investigative" committees who stick their noses into this sort of thing?

Oh what a web we weave when first we practice to deceive. CBS and the rest of the MSM - the Old media - with their JFKs - Journalists for Kerry - have been working overtime to bury Bush since he won the election. Do they stop at anything or is any lie too big for them?

It is so OBVIOUS!! that this is a fake. I wrote a report in the exact same font this very day and it looks the same.

Geez... anyone can run it on a dirty copier 3-4 times and make it look like an "old document".

CBS, you lose.

Here's a zoom from an overlay of another document. Notice that its an address bar and they're auto-centered.

Well, typewriters can't auto-center!

A grifter depends on a victim's greed in order for his confidence scheme to work. In the case of these obvious forgeries, only a liberal newsroom's "greed" for something - - anything - - that they could use to smear Bush could allow them to fall for this fraud.

DAN CAN’T HANDLE THE TRUTH

“Dan Rather is the undisputed head pooh-bah of the news division at CBS. Rather has spent 40 years solidifying his position. His former colleague Bernard Goldberg reports that Mr. Rather is extremely sensitive to criticism from any source. In his book "Bias," Mr. Goldberg quotes CBS News President Andrew Haywood: "Dan can't distinguish between mainstream criticism and criticism coming from the extremists. It's all the same to him." Goldberg writes that in the 1980s there was a vice president at CBS whose unofficial title was "vice president in charge of Dan Rather. "His main job was keeping Dan Rather happy." Little wonder, then, that CBS News refuses to acknowledge the liberal bias that is a staple of CBS News. No one can get through to Dan Rather. He is impervious to criticism.”

They are going to have to be more careful and they know it.

This incident may even prompt them to tell the truth on occasion.

"What did Kerry know, and when did he know it?"
Seems to me that as the Kerry Camp was floating the same exact points a month or so before this hit 60 Minutes, that they might be behind it. To me this is a story of Watergage proportion. Funny how the media seems to be not giving the weight to it that it deserves.
