Marjorie Connell — widow of the late Lt. Col. Jerry Killian, the reported author of memos suggesting that Bush did not meet the standards for the Texas Air National Guard — questions whether the documents are real on tonight's NIGHTLINE, sources tell DRUDGE.

Well, it looks like the wife's only "appearance" was a brief clip from her radio interview. On the other hand, the interview with Chris Lehane was interesting. No surprise that he speculated that the forged docs may have originated with the Bush campaign. Ted kind of got him off that pretty quick, but it is a legitimate speculation. I almost hope that Rove and company IS behind this scandal - - I like to believe that Republicans are capable of going way down to the bottom of the sewer to fight the Democrats where they live.
