Marjorie Connell — widow of the late Lt. Col. Jerry Killian, the reported author of memos suggesting that Bush did not meet the standards for the Texas Air National Guard — questions whether the documents are real on tonight's NIGHTLINE, sources tell DRUDGE.

The sad part is that this is supposed to be Free Press. Thank God for FR, talk radio, Drudge, and FNC. a few years ago they would have gotten away with all of this.

Can you folks imagine what it would have looked like had the Bush campaign transfered forged Kerry military docs to FNC and it was discovered? George Bush would be drawn and quartered.
Actually, in this case, "whom" would be correct, taking the objective form.
So now CBS has been hung out to dry -- it's a LOT closer to the election. ABC wasn't dissed again, so they merely payed it a passing glance on a low rated news show in the middle of the night. CBS is getting a lesson... they just got used... but they were used by their guy. They will have to decide what's more important - giving an expensive pass to Kerry or market share.

This short segment wasn't too bad. The clips of Kerry followed by Cheney at their respective conventions sure made Kerry look like a putz.
