What's interesting to me is that back in May or so, there was some sort of incident in which the Kerryits embarrassed ABC News over something (I wish I could remember what) and ABC called them out on it. Rush suggested that it was kind of a shot across the Kerry Swiftboat's bow, saying "don't put us in this position again."

So now CBS has been hung out to dry -- it's a LOT closer to the election. ABC wasn't dissed again, so they merely payed it a passing glance on a low rated news show in the middle of the night. CBS is getting a lesson... they just got used... but they were used by their guy. They will have to decide what's more important - giving an expensive pass to Kerry or market share.
