"Mega Fix," produced by WND author and columnist Jack Cashill, pulls together pieces of what the filmmaker says are deliberate decisions made by the Clinton administration prior to the 1996 presidential election that downplayed Islamic involvement in attacks on the U.S. and heightened the boldness of terrorists, culminating in the 9-11 attack.
Says promotional material for the 90-minute movie: "Cashill leads the viewer from Oklahoma City to Dubrovnik, where Ron Brown's plane crashed, to the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia to the destruction of TWA Flight 800 off Long Island to the Olympic Park bombing. As Cashill proves beyond dispute, these are not multiple conspiracies but all part of one major political fix, the mother of all fixes, the Mega Fix."
Though the federal government to this day claims the TWA Flight 800 disaster was not terror-related, Cashill notes it was John Kerry who, shortly after 9-11, inferred in the media that the plane's destruction was a terrorist act. A member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence in 1996, John Kerry made no public comment about the fate of Flight 800 prior to 9-11.
Cashill, a Ph.D. in American studies from Purdue, brings together information he used in writing his two latest books, "First Strike: TWA and the Attack on America" and "Ron Brown's Body."
However, it was not until he collaborated with "The Third Terrorist" author and former Oklahoma City TV reporter Jayna Davis on a series of WorldNetDaily articles about the OKC bombing that Cashill began to connect the dots between these seemingly disparate events.
Says a statement from Cashill: "[Clinton and his staff] turned Ron Brown into Martin Luther King while suppressing the investigation into his death. They swept the Khobar Towers disaster under the rug. They ignored all Islamic trails to the Olympic Park bombing and hung the innocent Richard Jewell out to dry until the election. And most spectacularly of all, they transformed the shoot down of TWA Flight 800 into a mechanical failure."
As WorldNetDaily reported, the film festival, taking place Sept. 10-12, aims to screen pro-America, patriotic documentaries to serve as an alternative to the Sundance and Cannes festivals.
Also making their world debuts will be two documentaries targeting leftist filmmaker Michael Moore – "Michael and Me" and "Michael Moore Hates America." Seventeen films will be screened in all.

To remain "fair and balanced," I must say that PBS's documentary on 9-11 that followed the President around was excellent in most respects, last night!!! I hope more liberals watch it since they've had their minds absolutely poisoned by Michael Moore's pile of puke!!!

The media is absolutely sick. Remember, they not only tried to discredit the SBVT...they looked for legal reasons to not even broadcast their paid ads. As they contrived this new standard for facts and credibility to deny the Swifites a forum for their message, they've continued to embrace any frivilous claim against Bush.
What's amazing is the nerve they have to do this when in fact, it has been those they've vouged for who have been proven incredible...whether it be Joe Wilson, Richard Clark or whoever it may be as long as they bash Bush. As Kitty Kelley is being granted as much air time as she demands, the authors of Unfit for Command are not only blacklisted from the airwaves...book stores have refused to carry, or display the book. Yet, they will prominently display Kelley's book which is now in serious question thanks to the refutations by Sharon Bush.
In all these cases, it has been the media who has disparaged anyone who dare to question Kerry's character...while those they parade as the paragons of truth are the only ones being caught lying. The fact that they continue to do this even after being burned on numerous occasions just shows the desparation they feel. The end is near and I hope this is the point at which the public says, enough.

Could it change the fonts? I only have the Adobe reader and can't check it myself by creating a document.
That still doesn't explain the superscript though. Nor does it explain the exact centering that you find on MS Word.
The Swift Boat Vets web site is reporting that Barnes' son has just been on a talk show and stated that he believes that the documents that CBS have are a mixture of genuine and fakes.
I think you mean Killian's (?spelling) son and not Barnes son...either that, or the SBV is mistaken.

UPDATE 12: In the August 18, 1973 memo "discovered" by 60 Minutes, Jerry Killian purportedly writes:
Staudt has obviously pressured Hodges more about Bush. I'm having trouble running interference and doing my job. But wait! Reader Amar Sarwal points out that General Staudt, who thought very highly of Lt. Bush, retired in 1972.
The more I look at these "memos," the more obvious it appears that they are inept forgeries.
